You guys are probably gonna like the track the most but what's really important is actually the giant Frisbee. Don't pay attention to the model itself because it's wrong, but I scripted a highly accurate representation of a pendulum that is basically an accumulation of all my knowledge on physics. It calculates the forces and torque based on its angular position acceleration and velocity at each frame, and uses it to calculate the position in the next frame. What this means is that if you set the motors to accelerate for long enough it can make it upside down, slow down at the top, and then continue and swing all the way back around if the friction coefficient is set low enough. I didn't set the script to accelerate It for very long but if you unpack it you can mess around with that and the starting position and such. It also means that if you set the motor friction and air r??????sistance to 0 and the starting rotation to Pi radians then it will stay standing and balanced upside down, but if you set it to Pi Radians +. 0001 it will fall after like 20 seconds. It's a work in progress but I think it's really fun and I'm excited about how the equations translated to such a fantastically accurate animation.


Expect a much more highly detailed and well textured model soon!

Nice work kyle, the animation works so smoothly. A sexy model will just finish this off.

^thanks! I'm thinking about also doing a recreation of drop zone at KD. Anyone have other ideas for flats?

I tried hopping on the Frisbee ride with the walk mode but fell through it to the ground.

^top spin would be easy cuz hugs uses the same seats. I could reuse the models a bit.

Zipper would be awesome..

While a Zipper would be awesome, it seems like a scripting nightmare.


I've also been working on a huss giant frisbee model, but I just can't get the seats down.

I get an error I traced bag to this Frisbee. I thought it was a bug so I posted it here

but as soon as I removed the Frisbee it stopped. did anyone else get errors?

I thought this Frisbee script has a little glitch (I Spotted it when dawn,And I didn't change the script)

So when it gets dawn in the simulator it goes insane?
Or am I missing something else here?

^ I minimize the NL2 and starting browsing the web, When I maximum the NL2 again and found the Frisbee is spinning, then I started Video export..........

did you see what happened to mine???
after I got the error and a countdown of death NL2 froze I had to CTRL+ALT+DEL.

I do love Looping Frisbee! :D The real one can't do, shame..... probably because it's much heavier than other inverted ships! What is the weight of a saucer thing?
