Sorry for the confusion, but I was trying to say that the actual trackwork (in FVD) is fine, but if you depumped the track once you exported it to the editor, it might take away the actual good shaping that you achieved in FVD and replace it with (possibly) smooth but inaccurately shaped track.

^ If you say it because the banking change I must say that it wasn't my intention. Sorry, it won't be there in the final version. But thanks!

Wow that is amazing. I really love the custom trees, but don't they take up a lot of capacity? They look quite high in poly count from what I can see.

Yup, they lag a bit. Thankfully nSeven included a 2D tree (and I'm sure he will make more in the future)

Thank you guys!

That POV is amazing, love the layout too! Kind of curious, what settings did you use to record it? Been trying to make my POVs look much smoother, like this one is!

Mmmm I don't think I did anything special. Maximum graphic quality, 720p, 30 fps and... well, then I converted it to .wmv. Hope it helps!

Thanks guys!

Did you use motion blur? I think that might be it, I've had it turned off

I came across a bluprint of Abyss (the nearly identical Saw clone in Australia ) and wanted to give it a try. But then I found the blueprint wasn't accurate, so i ended up changing lots of parts to complete the ride. This is not a recreation. Trackwork has some issues (most notably the kink in the immelman that can be seen in the second picture). Plans for this are giving it a theme (similar to the real one but different ) and release it as fast as I can. Oh, and I have finished a different second half for the Mack coaster. I'm having problems with youtube right now, but I hope to upload it later today.

I'm not sure how you built the immelman or your vertex density, but fixing the kink you're talking about in the immelman might be a small banking fix.Ride looks great and realistic aside from that though.

Mmmm no. The kink is there because I sustained the section where I reduced the G's for too long. Thanks!

Here is the second layout I promised the other day (My personal favorite):

And the first one again:

Help us decide which one will be made again (but well made this time :). And some more things:

As many of you have already noticed, Mack/Intamin NL one has an inaccurate tie spacing. This can be fixed easily by using Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter track (you won't have Mack launch fins though, but the track looks way better):

Image
Using Gerstlauer track.

Image
Using Mack/Intamin track.

As you can see there is a big difference. Only problem is Gerstlauer track doesn't have the four tube option. And even more things:

Artworks for the Euro-Fighter I posted the other day:

Image
Station Plans (meant to be realistic, so only the parts visible from the paths will be themed.

Dark ride section 1

Image
Dark ride section 2

And now concepts for another eurofighter. This is the important one. The previous was just for getting a quick start in Gerstlauer shaping (but I got carried away and I plan to release the ride with theming and everything):

Gerstlauer meets Cannibal.

Train desing

Hope you like it. Please, help us choose which layout will be redone and comment!

Yay more sketches and designs from Dapalm - I really love that you go through with the whole planning and sketching phase with your designs - I think it really helps your end product and makes your construction topics incredibly interesting!
