Do you floss on a regular basis?

Be honest.

I've never really fancied flossing and have only started doing it on a regular basis over the last year. To be honest, sticking a piece of string up between my teeth grosses me out a bit. [xx(]

I used to for a while...and when I used to have braces cause the dentist made my mom go nuts about how much money it would cost if I ended up having bad teeth after braces...

But as for now, I always get weirded out when I rub my gums with string.

certainly not the last option, it's been a while since I've been to the dentist [lol]. I don't floss either, I just brush, twice a day and my teeth are perfectly good and proper, so I obviously don't need to floss [:)]

I don't floss, but I stick my toothbrush in between my teeth to get anything out.

you've got damn big gaps between your teeth if you can fit an entire toothbrush in between them

here is a tip to beat the dentist:

use mouth wash regularly, brush 3 times a week, and then brush everyday, twice a day, for the month leading up to your appointment. works for me, works for my friends, works for everyone i know.

^^Gum and mouthwash don't scrub off all the plaque and other gunk that gets stuck on and inbetween the teeth though :/

There's a mouthwash out there that you use it and softens up plaque so you can brush it off really easy. That's what I use. But it tastes really, really bad.[xx(]

When I go to the dentist and get my teethed flossed, the hygenist always always cuts my gums with the floss, so I never do it at home. Using mouthwash before fools them for me at least.

Yeah I never floss either, it takes to much time and cuts my gums up. Mouthwash and good brushing works fine for me.

I only brush my teeth once a day, and I never floss or use mouthwash.

Mouthwash can increase oral cancer by up to 60%, and fluoride can do a lot more harm than good. (http://www.bionatural.com.au/default.as ... _chemicals)

thanks for that. [xx(] doesn't EVERYTHING seem to cause some sort of cancer these days? i brush twice and never floss. sometimes use dental sticks but usually brushing gets it and i rarely use mouthwash.

Its the goddamn chemicals. The companies who make the mouthwash/whatever put chemicals in them that don't have any positive effect (or appear to). Either the scientists or whoever create them and don't care if they can harm people, and just care to make money from them, or they actually believe that the chemicals can't do any harm and continue thinking that they are God.

i know it's quite disappointing. i was just being sarcastic but really it's like anything that used to be helpful is now jacked with chemicals that serve no purpose except to give money to the people that created them. it's all controlled by capitalism. money over humanity. disgusting

I floss daily. My wife is a dental hygenist ... if you saw the pictures of people's mouths that she has showed me to get me to floss, you would be looking forward to scraping that piece of string through your teeth too.

I just mixed Listerine and coke zero together and I have been drinking it now. I can now have alcohol spiked coke and a really great minty taste. I am 22 years old.
