This is my first attempt at a shuttle coaster, lately ive been starting lots of tracks and i just cant seem to satisfy myself, this one however turned out better, so i will be finishing it.

my only problem is im not quite sure how i should do the supports for the cobra roll and the vertical spike to go along with the rest of the ride. i would like all of the supporting to be done with
I-beams, and i plan on putting a platform under the cobra roll. any suggestions on how i should do supporting on those elements would be greatly appreciated.

let me know what you think so far.
thanks.

Looks creative, remember to keep the positive G's down in the back of the coaster cars.

I've seen 'your' design on more coasters than this one, also on much older coasters, so I wouldn't call it your design. [B)]

Yay Fall of Troy. Good choice. My new ride "Ghostship" is also inspired by them.

Fair enough, but the fact that he started his just a few days after I uploaded pictures of mine suggests he got the idea from one of my rides. I've never seen it done before, especially if it's only been done a long time ago, so I thaught mine was the first. But chances are he got the idea from me, as he said himself he couldn't find a design he was satisfied with, but as soon as I posted mine he suddenly gets a design he really likes a couple of days later. It just seems a little too coincidental to me.

i didnt actually get it from you, ive had the idea in the back of my head for a while now, and i had attempted to build a shuttle coaster with an inverting rear spike. my original thought was to build one that was only 100* or so, but every time i tried i had bad g's somewhere in the ride so i quit trying for awhile. then i thought about S&S screamin' squirrel coasters and how more rides are starting to hold people inverted for longer periods of time, and more inverted than 100*, so i built a ride with the same back spine as this one only with an immelman instead of a cobra roll, but the entry to the immelman had a red g and i didnt feel like fixing it. so i started over and got this.

and ive been perfectly happy with my designs and layouts lately, its just they havent been turning out as smooth as id like, or bad pacing ect.

EDIT:
new pictures on the dev center by the way, vertical spike supports finished.

About the copying, I would feel glad that someone liked my designs and wanted to use them whether or not they asked. People get pissed at it, i dont know why.

well its not out of the ordinary for people to want credit for things. im still not saying i copied anyone because i dont feel that i have. but think of it this way, imagine you come up with this great new invention, but you never made it. a few years later some guy is a millionaire because he made your idea, you can either be mad that it was your idea, or you can sit back and say "damn. i guess i should have made it myself" [LOL]
