I was wonding does anyone on this site watch f1 racing after what happened at the usa grand prix? I still watch the f1 racing seres I like it alot. I was at the usa grandprix and I was'nt happy just like everyone at the track and around the world. I hered that michenine is going to refond everyones tickets for next year I don'nt think what michne did was right but it was a good desion becuse ruif schomer crashed in pricte for the usa grandprix and I herd over the scaner that michen was looking at his tire and sad that it was'nt safe to race so they sad that the cars with michelen tries won'nt going to race and the 6 other divers were going to race the race. I think that micheln should have had a backup set of tires ready incase this whould happen or put the shane in the track to slow the cars down that was the proulm with the tires on the cars they were going to fast for the tires to hadle so the tires went flat I hope that f1 fixes this proulm with the tries and I hope that there is another f1 race at the usa. I watch f1 every weekend that it is on I was wondeing who won the f1 world chamionship? I know that micheal schumer was'nt going to win it alnso was going to win the chamionship did he win it? I aslo herd on the scaner that michelen was looking at rulf schomerers tires and sad that it was to dangous for the drivers with the michen tries to run the race I whould have liked to see all of the f1 drivers race the race insed of the six drivers that raced the race. I don'nt think that michen will the tries that the f1 drivers race on next year after the f1 usa grandpix race I hope that they fix the proulm and get everything fixed so all of the drivers can race the races and the usa grandprix race next year if that dosn'nt happen I do'nt think that f1 will last long in the usa or at indy. I went to all of the usa grandpix races but this years race was big disapnied race I say this becuse I came all of the way to inpalis to see a f1 race and I live in lancaster pa about 600 miles away form indy I would rater go to disneyworld then go to a f1 race after what happed this year it is farter away but it coast about the same as going to disneyworld so I hope that everything gets fixed and they have the usa race next year.I found out thay there is going to be a f1 race at indy next year it will be on july 2nd and I got three tickets for free to go to the f1 race I might ask my gralfrend to go to the usa f1 race or my grandpants.

F1 owns all other forms of Racing with a few minor exceptions. Still, it blows away the soap opera that is NASCAR and IRL isnt even racing anymore.

Road course races are fun to watch. Don't remember if F1 does road races.

F1 only races on road courses. No ovals. And most of the road courses are some of the most physically and mentally demanding of all road courses out there.

^That's why I like road courses so much. They have one here in Denver every year. And they also have the Pike's Peak challenge which is very fun to watch because you get guys doing 80mph uphill and taking turns at speeds much higher than you would think possible.

F1 is the only motorsport i'd watch. I find the new graphics aired with it, such as the accelerometer and such. Seeing the amount of laterals those guys are getting hammered by is simply amazing. Not to mention how mentally demanding some of the tracks must be...Monaco for example, i think i'd literaly crap myself taking some of those turns at those speeds next the solid brick walls

Solid Brick? Its not so much the solid brick but the solid concrete and the turns with the ridiculous radii in them.

My fave tracks are:
Monaco
Brazil
San Marino
Europe
Belgium

All those, not counting Monaco, have great high speed areas combined with areas of insane techincal challenges. Alot of them have huge elevation changes as well which adds to the excitement.

So what does Monaco have that makes it different from all the other tracks there?

Its probably especially hard for the drivers if they have to take and acute ange turn. I race those all the time in video games and I always manage to hit the wall.

Well...

-Its 2 lane inner city streets
-Monaco is very hilly - steep grades
-Roads not always in perfect shape
-Turns that are insanely tight
-Did I mention its only 2 lanes wide? ever?
-Multiple chicanes
-Again, very claustraphobic

Pretty much it would be you doing 80mph down hilly, bumpy 2 lane streets with guardrails and concrete walls on either side then slamming brakes on to like 20mph, taking sharp corners than going back up to 80, then more hard brakes, etc. All the while shifting like crazy and trying to pass people.

It is the WORST track for passing but its so intriguing just to watch...

^Yipes. That seems extremely difficult. You really have to have some concentration to be doing those speeds on that track. And if it's really hard to pass does that mean that if you get a good lead up you can win pretty easily?

I have one of the most realistic F1 sims out there, Grand Prix 4. Ill see if I can take a few laps around it using FRAPS and upload it somewhere.

At least Monaco is only a one way track. I'd hate to have to do multiple laps through that mess. And I don't really watch F1. Maybe I'll start.

Edit: \/ Must have misread the map. 77 laps. Those guys must be shaking when they get out of the cars. I didn't let the map zoom in. Oops.

What? You have to do (if my memory serves me right) 77 laps of Monaco...once through the course wouldn't be fun for anyone!

My favorte tracks in f1 are itly monco and japin. I like the japines grandprix becuse of the surp tuns and the higspeeds on the track. i like monico becuse it looks like it whould be a hard track to dirve on and the cars are so close to the wall I hit the wall alot in my f1 game it is fun but hard. I like how in a f1 race they shoue you the gaees and the rpms the cars are doing and the speed they are racing at. I aslo like how the cars do real quick pitstops and they go rigth out onto the track and don'nt lose alot of time and possaine. I aslo like the usa grandprix track becuse it uses part of the indy track and goes onto a rode corse. I aslo like it becuse it looks like a hard track to drive and there is alot of passing I think that f1 racing is better then nascar and indyracing. The f1 cars are relly cool to see and they are relly loed they make alot of noise when they are racing rigth passed you I like it becuse it sounds relly neat to her the cars going relly fast and they do like 19rpms so they are relly loed. I like micheal shumer becuse he drives the frire and I aslo like the marcine cars becuce of there pant scems and also like the willams team. MY favorte diver in f1 was atrian sena he was good f1 driver I was sad when he dieded. I also like the rodcorses better then the reagel tracks becuse they are harder to drive and the dirvers have to bake alot to avte hiting the cars in font od them. I like when it rains at an f1 track becuse it is relly cool to see the water spring up form the cars I aslo like f1 racing becuse the cars can race in the rain and the nascar cars and indy cars can'nt race in the rain I aslo like f1 racing becuse of the way they start and do a pas lap and then go to wate for the green lights to start it is relly cool when all of the cars aserte off the gride it makes alot of noise but it relly cool to here and see. I aslo like f1 racing becuse the race only last 1 hour and igf they go over that time the race leter is the winner of the race I think that f1 racing is more etering then any other racing series.

You can find those answers at www.formula1.com

GP4 is only for the PC. You need a moderate to good system to really get the full feel of the game. Its even more amazing in the wet weather. I may throw up a video of some wet weather, its quite impressive.

Formula 1 is a pain in the ass to watch over here. Most of the races come on at like 3-7am here and the channel it aired on only repeats the race one time at some obsurd time as well.
