Anybody seen this before? It's a Eurofighter opening at Hansa Park for the 2009 season, it looks as good as the Thorpe Park one as far as I can see!

Yeah, seen this.
It's not going to be a normal Eurofighter, it's going to be launched!
Also, it's a great addition to that park!

A launched Eurofighter like Wicked @ Lagoonm or properly launched? Do we know?

Wicked isn't a Eurofighter.

ahhh, right you are!

I'd never looked into it before, I'd just seen a POV on youtube. And you know how they all look the same these days, all like faux Intamins only with flatter, wider looking track.

Austin, that model is clearly not of this ride though, just looking at what has already been built in terms of the track and supportage in the picture I posted up top.

Models aren't always exact, but yes, its probably not the same, could be something like it though.

^ I don't think so because they did say it was going to be a eurofighter. I don't know though, maybe this new style of car is the new euro or something, unless theres a different name for it.

On RCDB, it's listed with a 97 degree drop, soo, I don't think that's the right model...
http://rcdb.com/m/id4075.htm
Also, at 40m, it's one of the biggest, if not the biggest EF out there... (didn't feel like going through the entire list...)
Also, the launch will be insane: 100kph in 1.5 seconds. That's an acceleration of 19m/s2 or 1.9g!
Oh, and it also says that it will feature enclosed parts of the ride, like the lift and drop... Sounds familiar, huh?
And, the barrelroll will be the only inversion.

[lol] yeah, I failed to read the bit on RCDB that says "0 #8722; 100 kph in 1.4 seconds", OMFG! [lol] nice.

hmmmmm, 97* drop, 100kph in 1.5 seconds, a drop AND launch in one coaster? It's well and truly possible, as has already been demonstarted on this very site but it sounds unlikely. I am LOVIN' the sound of this, however if that's true!

Actually, it's going to have a lift and a launch...

I don't think it will have a lift and a launch. My guess is that it's going to be more like Wicked at Lagoon, only better obviously...

On RCDB it says "Portions of the roller coaster including the lift and drop will be enclosed in the dark", so it really does sound to me like it will have a lift and a launch!

Now where have I seen that before? [confused] ....

[:D] wow that's an old track, looks like I'm way ahead of my time!

Its not exactly rocket science to put a lift and a launch on one coaster guys. [lol] It does sound awesome though. Cant wait to see it done. That turn around is sexy as hell.

Sweet, I was looking at pictures of this the other day, but nothing from the inside of the ride at all. Looks like a really surprising launch, I always like how Gerstlauer chooses to fit them into their rides.

If you look all the way through the pov, I love that little raise at the end
