Depends. Most of the time I wait for the front. But if its really busy, any row that looks shortest is where I will go.

I broke your poll. Since you posted it in the wrong forum initially and then I moved it, it is now broken. You should watch where you post stuff [:)]

It depends on the ride for me...and what it offers airtime wise.

Almost always back, but I know that Ravine Flyer II is way better in the front and Behemoth is better in the middle. Other than those two, yeah, back.

I personally like the front, but as said, the back and middle are good for G's. I am also persuaded to a seat due to lines.

Wait ... I'm confused. So, what you are saying is that you really have no preference and you will sit where you are told thus making you actually submissive to the ride op's desire; which makes your own poll potentially without value? Right?

[blah]

I prefer the back on wood ... front on steel.

I'm a backseat freak when it comes to rollercoasters. On some rollercoasters it depends that I'd also want to take a ride in the front. But when the queue is too long for that I'm always happy with the 2nd row. [:)]

Backseat if possible, on almost everything.
Middle if the lines are significantly shorter for those seats, otherwise i'll wait for my desired seat. Magnum XL 200, if ridden at all period, is in the middle always.
Maverick, front.

backseat. Rode backseat on S:ROS, nearly crapped my pants going down the first drop. Most of the time backseat, but I like to take front also because its fun seeing the track.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

i sit where ever i think is going to be best on a roller coaster.

all the Blackpool woodies at the back, megaphobia defo at the back even though i come off with my spine in 10 bits. oblivion back, air at the back

but then again there are lots front - speed, nemesis, rita, stealth back or front really, iron bru revolution, colossus, nemesis inferno. notice how these with the exception of stealth are pretty airless rides with pretty scenery.
im sure you get my drift so yeah i will sit were i either get the best view of the scenery or where the best ride experience will be

I've always liked being in the back.

Back on Intamin Impulses if there is a back spiral tower, B&M Hypers, Intamin Rocket coasters, Intamin Blitz coasters, B&M Flyers, Woodies, Arrow loopers.
Front on B&M inverts. No row on B&M standups, hate those things.

I don't really have a preference on anything else; just depends on the ride, really.

If I have already been on the ride before, I just choose whichever row has the shortest line.

I almost always prefer the back, but some rides (like inverts) are best in the front for the view.
