Wheres Englands 4d, my newsletter stated a month ago that a rumored 4d was suposably hitting te UK. And still then i opened a window because i could smell bull-shit. And yet we wait, im sure a coaster will come England, well just have to wait. Maybe if Alton re-introduce one of there plans for that woodie or something.
Or maybe Blackpool carry on with plans for a rocket coaster.
We need something unique.
AND SOON!!!!!!

Or maybe thats what FI are planning! They are planning a major new ride half way through the 2006 season apparently. Although i doubt it will turn out 4d! :( But they do have ties with S&S.

Looking good. I bet that Raven turn will be great with the seat rotation.

Is it just me or do those supports look like they are a certain shade of green...

(pun intended)

It may not be an X clone... Even if the track is the same as X, the actual ride experience might be totally different, because the seat rotation is changed.

Why do people think this will/might be a clone of X? If you've seen even one picture of X you should be able to see the differences easily.

I didn't know X got its colors changed....

Brilliant comment. There is only one element up! You must really be quite a pessimist to jump to the conclusion from one element that this will be similar to X. Not to mention that the element that is there is nothing like X's raven turn.

I still believe this is going to be too much like X for my liking. For some reason this ride isn't appealing to me. And yes I have been on X, and I think its great. I just hope S & S prooves me wrong!

IMO I bet most of the elements in X will be present. Who knows if they are in the same order or not.

THe raven turn is one of the signature elements in this sort of ride, kind of like a loop on a B&M.
It might look similar to X, but it won't, it will just be like a B&M, as they all have the same elements, it just does it in a different way to make the ride expereince more uniqe.

And even if it is similar to X (which I still wonder why people are jumping to that conclusion), what would be so bad about it? God forbid a coaster manufacturer actually creates a style and is consistent with it. It seems like most enthusiasts have the opinion "A COASTER MUST BE UBER ORIGINAL AND HAVE NO ELEMENTS THAT WERE EVER USED BEFORE EVER AND MUST GO TO SPACE AND BACK AND GO REALLY FAST AND BE UBER COMPACT AND AMAZING AND ORIGINAL!!!!!111!!".

It's just unbelievable what people expect of new coasters. And oh yeah, did I mention how uninteresting it would be if every coaster was so original it didn't have anything even resembling a layout or elements?

There should be no reason to rant about what I say. Your opinions and mine are different. So be it. What I say is coming from me, not you all. And I'm not going to change my views either, and once again I just hope that S&S is able to prove me wrong.

Sorry for my comments guys, after looking at many of the new pics at various sites, I have an idea for the layout that is way different from X, but still has the same elements for the most part. My comments may have been a little early, but i still dont like something about this ride. I dont know what. Heres my idea for the layout:

Honestly, I care nothing about layouts, as long as the ride is fun. Just look at B & M. All of their coasters use all of the same elements, just in different directions, but no one says their layouts are sucky and unoriginal.

Jakizle, did you pull that drawing out of your mouth or something like that?

We'll see how your layout matches when the coaster is completed.

Might be lying on your back during that section. Then and everything may appear smaller than it really is because of the sclae of the ride.

The trains go directly to the side of the track, so there will be enough room there.

Sorry for the small pick, but I assume the large ones will pop up very soon.
