Yesterday in line for The Bat at Kings Island: "We will be taking you upside-down not one, not two, not even three, but exactly zero times!" ;)

Yep, Cedar Fair does that one a lot. "Maverick will be taking you upside down, not three times, not four times, not five times, but you guessed it, two times!"

Back when we had Chiller at Great Adventure, the ops would always say funny things as they were launching it.

"Launching in 10 9 8 7 6" *launch* *train returns* "5 4 3 Oh! You're back already!"

"You guys know what time it is? It's launch time!" *launch*

"Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye" *launch*

Another good one... "Arms down! Head back! Enjoy your ride on Kingda... Chiller!" *launch*

And after Chiller had closed for good, we still had to fill out its paperwork for a while. In particular, we had to log downtimes and the reasons for them. In this case, one long downtime from open to close. Once they started taking the coaster down, we started writing "missing track" as the reason for downtime.

I've also heard,
"Oncoming riders, welcome to the Blue train, also known as the Cookie Monster train."
"Oncoming riders, welcome to the Red train, also known as the Elmo train."
"Oncoming riders, welcome to the Yellow train, also known as the Big Bird train."

^Oh, that reminds me;

On Kingda Ka the ride ops will say "Riders on the money [the green and teal one] train please pull down your restraints, if you can afford them". When you get back, they say "Welcome back money train! How was your shopping spree?!"
Pretty cool if you ask me, though, I never get the money train so I don't get to experience that.

The ride ops for Cedar Creek Mine Ride at Cedar Point were jokingly referring to the ride as "The Greatest Ride Ever!" "Enjoy your ride on Cedar Creek Mine Ride, the Greatest Ride Ever!"

People tend to overrate what they like most! I'm actually guilty, too, because when I finish building my own NL tracks I like to say they are my greatest creations ever! I even think they may beat the world of NL! Far from being realistic. ;)

I use these all the time when I operate Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast at Six Flags Over Texas. Coincidence, I think not.

Another one that I will use is "Some of you guys are looking a little scared to be on this ride. You shouldn't be scared of it, (drops tone of voice) You should be terrified of it. *train launches* (when train gets back) Welcome back(x3), see, it wasn't that bad. You survived THIS time, and this time only, (evil laugh)."
If the people on the train ask for a countdown, then I will do this. "Freeze is clear to launch. Oh, sorry I forgot, ) BYE Falicia."
Its fun, I will definitely put it like that.

Ride op for High Roller at Valleyfair: "Riders, please put your hands up. Don't worry, this is not a robbery, we are checking your seatbelt."

Not really funny but the Boulder Dash ride ops are like the nicest people ever. When it's late and there's no lines they'll just run the train through the station until someone says stop.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Last ride of the day on Ripsaw at Alton Towers(Huss TopSpin) for those not aware.

The gate opened and the usual spiel was delivered "Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to RIPSAW, please move all the way down filling every seat...oh and watch the fountains there a little sticky today!"

Basically as people were boarding and walking by the water pool , the op was sending the fountains full height into the air so that the side spray would soak anyone walking through =]

Next... "Heads back and arms by your sides the restraints are coming down to lock..hehehe!(All harnesses locked and ready) " OK If you would not like to get soaked please stand up now!....OK OK If you WOULD like to GET SOAKED.. STAY SEATED!!" OK Have it your way...PREPARE TO BE DETOXED BY RIPSAW!!

What followed was possibly one of THE WETTEST rides id ever had on Ripsaw, we was absolutely soaked

Something akin to this, however in the low swings we got a face full of water
