I agree with dcs... I don't keep count, and it's pointless of me to do.

Sky Rocket isn't as intense as I expected. The way they discribe the ride is a bit off. The launch is a sort of rolling launch, it goes about ten mph into the lims instead of from a complete stop so there isn't really much force behind it. The top hat DOES have a vertical descent but about an 80 degree climb so it's not totally vertical, and there are only two inversions not three like they claim. And there are trim brakes at the top of the top hat that slows it down to a crawl when it goes over so there isn't much air time unless you are in the last seat. That being said, the front seat gets CRAZY ejector time when it first reaches the top and a dive machine-ish rolling pause before the trims release the train. It's a pretty fun compact layout, the over-bank is fast and forceful, the Zero-G roll is really intense, imo more so than most B&M's with wierd ejector time there too. It kinda reminds me of a more intense Moto-coaster than a Premier LIM launched coaster and im not sure why they did the top hat so watery, they pretty much invented them so you'd think they could have made that one better....

Also the wave turns are pretty tame, I feel they could have banked them a lot more intensely. They only bank about 15 degrees in either way so its more of a light shake than anything. Maybe i'm just spoiled by Maverick ;P

The train itself is pretty comfortable, but I can see larger and taller guests having a hell of a time trying to get situated. Also there was only a ten minute wait for it as the line goes surprisingly fast for only running two small trains.

Overall it is a really fun ride but unless you plan on going to Kennywood anyway I wouldn't make a special trip from too far for it. The locals love it, there isn't anything like it in the area so yay for KW.

I'll post the break-down pics when I get home

Credits aren't stupid. Just the values that people give them [:D][:D][:D]

Sorry to double post.... But pics

From my cell. forgot the camera[xx(]

Image For some reason they had a giant industrial fan on milk crates pointed at the lims. Does it have cooling issues?

The train wouldn't line up to launch, it kept rolling back too far so they would give it a light kick with the lims and try to stop it by hand before it past the sensor point.

Based on how it runs, I didn't think it could launch from a complete stop. But them it did lol. I wish they didn't put the front panel on the lead car, woulda been great to have that open...

More later when I get my camera back
