I think it's time I learned how to make my own 3Ds. I had issues in the past but I think it's time I try again. so here's some questions:
Where do I begin?
Where did you start out?
Any good or notable tutorials you use or would you be willing to make?
Any other info I may need?

Personally I just use sketch-up. It's very intuitive but I find sometimes it doesn't feel powerful enough to easily do some things (but then I do come from engineering 3D modelling which is obviously a much more expensive program)

Sketchup is quite intuitive so that's probably a good place to start.

Start off making simple objects like fences to get to know the program, then as you grow more confident make more complicated objects such as buildings or benches, I could post some pics to help you get to know the basics? I'm sure that afro's tutorial will be good though :P

Blender. It's free, it's super powerful. Small learning curve, but there is a massive weather of tutorials out there to help you get into the program.

Try googling something like "blender modeling tutorials". Putting this into Youtube also yields a wealth of results.
