Help with URCD

found the game on the clearance aisle at Target - too good a price to pass up - only one problem...

the game installed great, and lauches fine. but whe I go to ride or edit a coaster, the program closes and goes back to the desktop.

Since I am new to this SIM, is there something I am missing as far as a patch or something else I don't know about.

Any help would be great!
