I'm guessing that it will be because in the video they said that all the track has been replaced from the MCBR on, but even then I heard that it only affects the triple down in the tunnel and the airtime after that is around the same.

From my experiences, the trims on the MCBR not only affected the triple down, but it neutered the entire last half of the coaster.

^agreed. The second half of the ride was completely ruined by the trim. People who say it "didn't affect the ride that much" were probably just trying to kiss ass or be "optimistic".

While Holiday World is easily one of my favorite places in the world, just like anything else, they're not perfect.

^ What about making that trim part into a double up section to maintain the ride speed? The minor layout change like Legend should happen in the future!

:)

Then the entire MCBR would be taken out and capacity would be pretty much ruined lol

Voyage no longer operates with three train operation, so the removal of its MCBR would not affect capacity.

THANK THE LORD Legend is getting a re-tracking... It was so painful when TTD03 and I went. Like unbearably painful. I must say that the layout is quite good and it has some pretty good forces. I am excited to see how well this re-tracking goes.

Well it would just perhaps not significantly, removal of the MCBR would mean the next train wouldn't be able to crest the lift hill until the previous train had completed the entire circuit. This would result in a larger dispatch interval and therefore theoretically a smaller throughput. I think in reality you can't quite dispatch the trains quick enough for it to make any real difference.

Mkingy is right. Sometimes parks dispatch rains oddly so that if the ride breaks down they're less likely to send someone high up the lift or have to go fetch people all the way out on the block brake.

They don't dispatch Voyage until the train is on the hill directly in front of the station leading into the station tunnel.

Looks like they're adding banking to places.

I love Voyage to death! I am one of the few that have said trims did little to the experience. I don't say it to "kiss ass". IM O, the only thing hurt from the MCBB is the triple down. I agree that the loss of that airtime really sucks. But, the train regains its high speed by the end. On Friday of HoliWood Nights, I rode it all day hitting 97 laps. Sure the trims were a big letdown, but loved every ride. I still hope they can do more testing with them and come up with a good adjustment instead of a complete stop.

A good adjustment would be to turn off the MCBR and allow Voyage to operate the way it did for nearly a decade.

No. This retracking should make the ride much better. It has a fantastic layout.

What? Legend has a terrible layout. Many hills are drawn out and the laterals are not well executed.

The Legend at one point in time was my favorite woodie in the park. The more and more aged it became, that obviously came to a bone-shattering, neck breaking, spine snapping halt. The Legend in no way possible has a "terrible" layout. Far from it. At the time, lateral G forces were all the rage so to speak, so the helices invoked some rather intense laterals. The Legend is and was nowhere near a terrible ride. Now, was it painful? Abso-freakin-lutely. I think I rode it, maybe less than 10 times last season. Compared to 142 Rides on Thunderbird, 65+ on The Voyage, and 100+ on The Raven. I love the layout, and I'm very, very, happy to see the more dull places in the layout refreshed and reimagined. I haven't been this excited to ride The Legend in years. GCI coming in, and redoing this ride in a small way like this, is the best thing they could have done for it.* I'm excited. But I still don't think this is the only thing new coming to HW this year. Also, Platinum Season Pass option this year. Already got mine. Stoked.

*- But I mean if RMC wants to come in and ya know, IBox it, I'm okay with it.

Somewhat correct. On busy days, that's the best we could really do. But as soon as the light indicated we could dispatch, we would. Our goal was to get the trains to cross over each other.

Sorry for the double post.

Some highlights from one of the park's podcasts shows the current progress on the retracking.

I'm really curious to see if GCI kills the last third of the ride lol. All of the banking looks totally different.
