Determination. That and every version I tried something different that worked, so I kept having that little bit of incentive to rework it, try that + something else.

Eventually the lightbulb in my head went off and I got it where I needed it.

I have ADD, i think its one of the reasons I can't get my rides to perfection. Woah is me.[:(]
Also, did you do this entirely by hand?
one more thing. what the heck is this? Image
It looks nice, yes, I wasn't sure if it was plastic, or what at first, but I don't know what it's suppose to be.

I am becoming more dedicated, part of it may be because I am just a hyped 14-year old.

Its the pneumatics/hydraulics for the floor in the station.

As for by hand, ALL of the ride thus far was hand created, smoothed, then auto-heartlined. You CANNOT get a zero g to roll like that and make it by hand. Its impossible.

so techincally, the ride is hand built, but smoothed and heartlined. So trust me, the original product had to be pretty darn smooth for anything to come out like it has.

But there goes like all of my BT points. Crazy too since real coaster builders have such tools (in the form of equations). Weird.

I wouldnt be mad, I know that in recreations in which arent open or havent ridden theres a degree of accuracy thats missed.

I had a similar feeling with Dragster but wasnt upset :P

Things are going well...Cork is done, however, I have to trade it out for a lower vertex resolution one since theres no way I could, by hand, make the cobra and connect it to the cork. But dont fret, I have what I did recorded. Plus I have the original before I AHG'd it.

something offtopic, how do you get on a floorless?, is there just a metal floor sliding onto the track where you can walk on?

The Cobra roll has been "Attempted" being as the element is so mis-shapen in real life, this was only a test. I altered the flatspin a bit more, but the real work was in the cobra. I will be redoing it all over, but I have the original template. It needs quite a bit of tweaking, but you can see that its very close as it is now.

G's are very low lateral wise, but its hard to tell since thats not the final rendition. As like most floorless rides, seats on the outside will pull up to the 0.7-0.8 mark. But the true test is the inner seats, which I believe are still below 0.5 and 0.4 most of the ride. Theres nothing you can do about the outer seats, they pull more lats, but nothing so sudden youd even notice.

looks good, I'm sure by the time your done with the cobra roll, you'll be satisfied with it, too. Do you believe this will be the pinnacle of your work?

Yes, most likly. It wont be flawless, but the degree of difficulty has pushed me to new techniques for perfection but at the same time, accepting work thats close to perfect but not quite, especially since I have only the top down blue prints, Im kind of limited to the details.

lol, you said jojo. Are you tweaking it because its not shaped right, or are you tweaking it because its not smooth enough and it pumps?

Tweaking it because it was pumpless and 99% smooth, but now its 100% smooth. There was a small discrepency with the heartline, a very tiny bump I noticed while scanning in editor. Otherwise youd never, ever know.

But now its gone, all is better :)
