I got a new $1300 computer!

I will now be able to run more coasters, and hopefully be able to build coasters with a faster computer!
I built it with my father.
Here are the parts we used
Video Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 970
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K
Case: Corsair Carbide Series Spec-02 Redshift
Ram: EVGA 16 GB
Hard Drive: Seagate 1TB
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme4
Monitor: ASUS 24 Inch

That's a good setup you got you will be very pleased with it. I have the same proc with 32 Gb of ram and dual Asus Nvidia 970s with a 250gb Samsung 850 pro. Have yet to find an application that will stress that processer or a game that could not be run on max settings even with the SLI disabled and instant boot is awsome.

However I have the cheapest mobo from Microcenter and a 500 watt power supply that likes to thermal lock because the graphics cards are power hungry.

You should definitely spring for an M2 ssd or sata ssd down the road for your OS to get all the performance out of it.

Perhaps you could beta-test one of cool5's creations. I know he'll find a way to stress processors. :lol:
