i made freshman last year. But this year i am trying out for jv (Junior Varsity) and varsity. It's a whole different boat. If i cant tryout they put someone in my spot. Basically im screwed.

I was actually doing some serious mountain biking, but no, I went and broke my face on a F&*%ING WATERSLIDE! GODDAMMIT!

haha that sucks. I hope you have insurance. I don't and just for this one tooth and the chipped one beside it is going to total $900, without the cap for the broken one. If my other front tooth dies then I guess it doubles. [:(]

I sliced my middle finger open, YAY!

(A day and-a-half ago...)

So...I open up a can of raviolies, and I throw the cover into the trash (which I never do...I still don't know why I did it)

A few hours later, I completely forgot I put it in there. I was then working on the kitchen, and I had to empty out our drain-catchers in the garbage (you know, you bang them on the side of the trash-can to get the stuff out of it)

So I get one of the drains, open up the garbage can lid, don't look where i'm putting my hand, swing down as hard as I can to get all of the collections off of the drain in one shot, then... *THWUP*, almost like the sound of wind rushing past you but more silent...I look and a chunk of my finger just got sliced on the cover-top...it happened to land VERTICALLY in the garbage can! What luck!

Either way, long story short...I ended up getting three BEASTILY thick stitches, in which they only got my finger PARTIALLY numb before they did the stitches...I was biting on Tounge-depressors the ENTIRE time, it was the most painful thing i've ever been through, even more than when I got hit by a car a few years back...

Yep, it's now in a splint to keep it protected...oh, and happened on my right hand...my good hand, so i'm trying to type with my left hand, and four mobile fingers on my right hand...

Luckily the cut was deemed superficial. Thank god it was not worse, if it was to the bone, they might've had to take off my fingernail (the whole thing...that was a fun thought I had running in my head for a while [:P])...

I must admit...the experience of the non-stop gushing of blood out of my finger-tip until I got pressure on it will stay in my memories forever...as well as when the nurse washed it out with a syringe, and I got to see all the blood get washed out of my finger-tip so she could study the cut...[redsmoke]
