Cedar Point has been plagued once again with high winds, and Iron Dragon has taken a turn for the worst.

Maverick did not valley. It and Blue Streak are the only rides running.

Where is the proof that Maverick did or did not valley? And a simple facebook post from a non-official group is not good enough for a credit to say that a ride has valleyed.

Don't they shut down all rides if the wind is like 10 mph or something

Each ride has it's own wind limit. However, winds are awful today so they shut down everything but Blue Streak, Maverick, and Rougarou.

If Rougarou is down you know it's windy as all hell. Raptor is especially valley-prone.

Also someone is in trouble lol

The Mantis lagoon is 3ft deep tops, I double Iron Dragon's is any deeper.

I think it was empty. If it was full, it probably would have made it through.

^I second that! From the pics, the train appears to be empty.

This may be kind of a bit off the topic, but it would be exciting if an "Arrow Suspended" had a pretty awesome effect like touching down on the water!

:D

It's back up and running! it was winched back up to the station Sunday morning during early entry and was operating by lunch. For anyone wondering how they reached it, it was just a crane sitting on the midway.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.
