In summary, I pointed out that Jcoasters was spouting made up, poorly thought through "science" and everyone else was facepalming.

In reality, I have a fairly broad regional accent and use regional dialect a lot. Sentence structure and grammar in the spoken word are the first two things to suffer in the dialect of the region I grew up in. I tone it down massively on here for this very reason, however, occasionally I type something exactly as I might say it to a local friend without putting any thought into it at all. Your native dialect can be quite a difficult thing to shake off completely.

I am so sorry that this has caused you such a grievance and am sorry to have affected your life in such an adverse way. If you felt so badly offended that you decided to leave the site for good, I would understand. [V]
