Look how flimsy the top of this rocket themed swing ride is. The chains are at least 2 stories tall! I'm guessing the ride is really lame and boring. Why are Japanese swing rides so flimsy?

Actually, it looks more thrilling then you think it is. If it spins around fast enough, you could fly pretty high. [:D]

And you think the rides built by chance are any safer?

The main lifting cylinder for the sweep arms is held in place by a single bolt with a slotted retainer nut. Every so often if its not checked, the bolt will fall out and the sweeps will come crashing down to earth with out warning.

Remember, Theres a chance of death riding on anything built by CHANCE.

There is a chance of death doing any activity at any point in time anywhere in the world.

You're not a goddamned engineer so quit pretending to be one. It's not flimsy, it's probably just old. If it was so flimsy it would have fallen over in one of the many numerous earthquakes/typhoons that strike the island.

EDIT: Come to think of it, that may be a rather smart way of eliminating the mechanism that raises the seats in the air. That eliminates one more part that can break.

Maybe he should be one. It would be great population control. Think about it, anyone stupid enough to ride something Chance built would probably be stupid enough to ride something cool5 built, thus probably deserve it.

...Oh it was such a gruesome Tragedy. Almost everyone was decapitated and the ones who weren't broke their spines and drown in their own blood.

well? Did you get decapitated and/or have your back broken in such a way that you drowned in your own blood?

Yeah engineers have constructed it in such a matter to where chances of breaking are to a minimum. It may not look safe but id put money on it that it is. Keep in mind these people make a living on this stuff and if they screw up they get state, insurence companies, private lawers (for the victims families) etc on their ass which im sure they would just avoid. I mean they probably went to college to figure out how to do this stuff so i think it would be ok.
