God I love the dark green and pale green colour scheme. It works so well on helix and fits this coaster perfectly too. I'm looking forward to see a Gerstlauer of this scale in action!

That banking is whack.

That element looks like something out of an NL fantasy track. Seriously cool.

The photo taken from outside the park, it reminds me of Sky Loop in Germany, too! :D

People on NLE are going off on why this ride is horrible.

They said the supports are overdone, messy, and ugly and that the track banking is horrible.

Not everyone though; a couple users are defending the ride too.

I love how Karnan's layout is already well under construction but I (we?) still don't know exactly how it'll ride.

Last I checked NLE is full of teenagers and people that don't make rides for a living, and also invented a sort of religion on how rides are supposed to be run that is totally false.

I'd call the supports stupid too if it didn't exist in real life, but it's happening lol. Is it over a building or something like the drops on Smiler?

The element starts to look more brilliant by the day. When I saw the concepts as first I thought these were going to be inversions. But with that crazy banking I'm actually getting exited for this. :)

It seems Gerstlauer likes those dives a top. The part before Junker's odd loop is one of those dives.

That non-inverting sea serpent is crazy and so is its support structure. Looks like Gerstlauer is killin' it in 2015.

I really dislike the support structure. I'd mark down if that was someone's ride. They might but canvas banners on it and stuff though, or more theming, so I'll wait and see how the whole ride turns out.

I'm not going to judge the supporting for two reasons. One being that it won't affect the ride by much. Two being that It doesn't look that bad in my honest opinion. In other words, there are probably better ways to support it than the way they did, since it seems like there's unnecessary amounts of metal put into the structure.

How about we don't judge the ride by it's support job and judge it by how it is itself. Sure it's not all that pretty, but who really cares how it looks compared to how it rides? (Not saying it could be a smooth or rough ride, just in general).

there's three tracks under it:

the two from the sea serpent

and the hop into the brakerun

the supporting job was required to be done this way to avoid having supports running through the track below

furthermore, every bit of force that could be applied to the supports was considered and calculated. I highly doubt there's "extra" supports as it would simply drive up the construction and manufacturing costs, something that makes literally no sense.

I did not know that there was anything underneath it, in that case the part where I said "it could be extra metal" Should be forgotten. :D

If you look in the pictures you can see a path underneath the ride.

I'm really curious on how this is going to ride. Hopefully it's going to be one sick element.

I thought as much!

As Meta mentioned they do the calculations on this stuff - there won't be wasted metal. I iamge due to the constraints of where they could put the footers and it being so high up meant that sort of structure is required. Like CK said look up Smiler's supports over the toilets (lift hill end) - they're pretty complex too!
