The description of the frame animation demo park on Steam says "This is an animation trick using the Snapshot feature in Max to convert key frames into static meshes. Each mesh is like a 3D movie frame."
Is there any way to do something like that in Blender?

As far as I know recreating their movement with just key-framing doesn't seem to work. It's always fun to experiment and become inspired.
