2 years time ill be going to china and japan

now this coaster, wow it looks stunning HOWEVER it looks quite streached out so ill reserve judgement untill its finnished

and as for the earth quaked im shure they wil have thought of that and used floating bolts and footers to counteract it with minimal damage

I do agree, however you don't know how fast the train is traveling.

Yeah, I agree with CKMWM and Gaazag....it looks very stretched out for a GCI. For me, the fun of a GCI was the compact and severely twisted layout(Renegade excluded). I guess we will just have to wait until the testing videos come out to see the adrenaline factor is.

It looks plenty spread out, but then again, look at some of the best roller coasters in the world: El Toro, The Voyage, Millennium Force Boulder Dash, all most B&M Hypers....they're all really spread out. Also, I think most of the comments in this thread are about how sexy it is, not how good it will be.

I would remove MF from that list and switch it with BDash but that's just me...
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

I'm not overly concerned about how spread out it is. GCI knows how to pace rides.

Why must China get the biggest and best GCI?

Because the people in charge at the park approached GCI and said:

"ah soo, Mr. big penis amewicaaan, I give yoo mirrions and mirrions of dorrars to buird impossibrury big wooden rorrercoaster at my park! I have rots and rots and rots of dorrars to spend, name your price!"

And the people in charge of Six Flags approached GCI and said:

"er, hi, we haven't got any money left at all, so we need you to design and build us a woodie on a shoe string please. P.S. don't tell anybody, because it's a secret, but we're going to tell everyone we've got THREE brandnew coasters next year at Magic Mountain, when it's really only ONE!! hahaha! People will believe anything!"

Or something like that. Money talks and China has more of it.

What about Europe.I`d say almost every park in Europe wasted its money for a Mack Splash Battle...

I know buying a high capacity water ride what a poop idea.

So what's special about this, other than how it takes up a lot of space? It looks really stretched out and lame, considering how most GCI's are boring as hell anyways.

I honestly don't think GCI's rides are boring, I think they're pretty fair filled with airtime and quick transitions and laterals. I do have to agree that they are well paced and that they are fun for being compact, but regardless of how spread out the ride is, the view is incredible, and the ride will deliver a pretty good amount of airtime and still maintains the very brief and quick transitions that the norm would have. I think it will end up being pretty cool, it's probably just me. I'm no fanboy, I'll probably never be able to ride it, and I've only really been on Termy [lol]

All in all, I just think it looks pretty. I honestly haven't given much, if any, thought to how good the ride will actually be, since, like A113, I will likely never ride it.

So like... boring because they don't beat the ever living crap out of you? You probably think B&M is boring too, right?

God love the overwhelming number self titled enthusiasts' grandiose opinions. Somehow when we ride a certain number of roller coasters or join a certain number of forums we lose our appreciation for a good ride.
