Now all the druggies will show up to parks to watch the wheels spin.

Now the cost of each wheel has gone from $250 a pop to $950 a pop.

Looks sweet, but I am concerned about how soon the LEDs will break down under the stressful rollercoaster-conditions.
It might be smarter to install the LEDs on the train instead, like on Hollywood Dream.

I'm sure they've given thought to the impact on cost, wear, etc. And if I had anything to say about it, I'd use the wheel's rotation as a generator for the power for the lights. Just a thought.

^ Remember this is the company that didn't correctly analyse the link between the cars on their most popular coaster type.

That is how they work, just the same as a yo-yo, or an NSD powerball with LEDs on it.

Also, as cool as this might look, it will surely just make the cars look like chav cars, with "wanker" lights on them.

Ever hear of a re-call? That issue was only on H:RRR. H:RRR is the largest thing they ever did, and there are bound to be issues. Look at all the problems Intimin has had.

Is it the actual wheel or is it just a cap they put on the wheel?

From the video it looks like it is screwed onto the wheel wheel, they probably CNCed the wheel so that it has some stand offs for the LED piece to mount on.

Why don't they just glue long-lasting glow sticks?

But looks like the cash went out so they could not afford bling-bling finish.

Announcement:HRRR will be renamed to Hollywood, rip, ride, raped! Also it will have will feature whore animatronics and Smack my bitch up will be added to the song list for the onboard sound system.
This rethemeing is know under the name:Pimp my coaster! and will be sponsored from MTV,since they fed up with Xzibit&Co.The age required to ride will be 21,since the government still thinks that 14 year old can`t watch porns in internet.
