Ok I might buy NL. I have one concern though. Is NL hard to get used to? Does it have a hard to us editor? I heard the editor is math based and dealing with math is enough for me at school. Is the math easy or what? Is the editor easy to use?

The editor is a lot like SM's editor, it's just a little more exact I think.

for *perfect* tracks, yeah, you have to use math. but for placing a node here and there, its not rocket science, its INSANELY SIMPLE. click button, click on editor screen, adjust handles and vertical location of track node, continue to next track node.

It's very hard to get tracks very smooth, especially loopers or any very compact coaster. The biggest and hardest problem to eliminate, is the banking jolts which make the train swivel from side to side. Getting rid of pumping is something you'll eventually get used to.

After all the conversations here you still have to ask? Just get it man -- it really is worth it.

It is worth it. I haven't made a single track with it, but I love riding the outstanding creations made here.

For just making the track, all you need to do is click and drag nodes all over the place. Its really simple. Also, if you get it you can ride some of the insane tracks on this site, so its definately morth it.

Now your starting to talk about the elementary. That's a side program to build your elements but then with math. Don't worry. Your not forced to use it.

NL is pretty easy. Personally i'd think it's even easier then the SM editor. If your still in a doubt about how to control the NL editor, Try out the demo and just play around with it. The only thing you can't in the demo is, riding other people's tracks and save your own tracks.

And just a hint when you've purchased NL. Store the installation file and your reg code on a cd. That would prevent you from losing it. Since the NL team get's enough requests on lost reg codes and instalation files...

Hmm, maybe I'll get it. I'll check out the demo and play around a bit. Hopefully it'll seem easy. Anyway, I'll probably be buying since one day or another I will want to download those cool NL creations..

I mean really...the game only costs 30 bucks! That's rediculousy cheap if you ask me. Like you said, even if building your own rides doesn't work out, you can still ride tons of creations uploaded here and everywhere else.

Well I played around with it did a lil bit of everything. It was pretty easy. It was kidna hard on some parts (Obviously because it was my first time trying it) but I'll porbably get use to it. I loved the graphics+sounds. Esp. The woodie sound it felt 3d...Anyway the brakes were way better compared to the ones on SM and the up stop wheels on the woodie is great. I maybe buying it after all..

It's easily worth $100 IMO ... let's put it that way. It can be frustrating to learn at first, but if you stick with it and take tips from members here you'll get used to it.
