One stat that surprised me is how Renegade has hopped up to #18! Its a nice coaster and its cool to see my home coaster getting some recognition.

I most definitely approve of these results. I think it almost exactly reflects my personal sentiments as far as the coasters I've ridden. Yay Mitch!

terribly inaccurate results.

1. Cyclops is a HELL of alot better than Raven, Hellcat, Cornball, and Viper
2. American Eagle is a HELL of alot better than Zeus, Tornado, Screamin' Eagle, Boss, Outlaw, Blue Streak, Hoosier Hurricane, and again, VIPER.
3.Thunderbird and Evel Knievel are THE SAME love THING!!!!!!!!!!

It's just that most opinions outweigh yours. That's the point of a poll, to find out what the best is, among a ton of voters.

Cause why have love ejector air, WITH A BUZZBAR,

when you can have moderate airtime with an individual lap bar? [sillyme]

Yes, I'm referring to Cyclops and Viper.

Well I'm pretty sure Viper has consistent and multiple points of airtime while Cyclops has just that one insane part. Plus, not everybody likes airtime as much as you (I would probably vote the same way you did though, if I rode those rides).

I've heard a lot of complaints over roughness this year. I didn't find it rough at all. Also, I'm sure a lot of people were disappointed with the Timberliners not running.
This is not my signature.

I rode Viper back car in 2005 and thought it was just ok. Nothing special at all...the only real fun part was the double dip after the second turnaround, and even that wasn't as good as it looked offride IMO. My friends also enjoyed, but had the same thoughts about how it didn't really stand out, especially after just having ridden Raging Bull.

I also thought AE was very lame except for the excellent first two hills.

I can't see Cyclops being better than any of those rides listed, other than Viper. For its size though it does look good.

And your comment is worthless since you haven't been on Boulder Dash.

Glad to see Dash only lost to Toro by 2 votes...hoping it finally takes it's well deserved spot at the top next year as more people ride :)

^yes. I don't see why people choose El Toro over BDash. People now days are all about height and speed and steepness.

lol, if that's the case then you're not allowed to say something like Boulder Dash is better than the kiddy coaster Zoom at Yoyo Land (yes, there is a ride named Zoom at Yoyo land) because you haven't been on Zoom. Any comments you make on any ride you haven't ridden are worthless, by your own admission.

^ Except BDash has consistently been ranked about the same as El Toro, so to have a fair opinion of which is better, you would need to have riden both.

Cyclops has some AMAZING airtime spots in the back seat. (buzzbar!)

Plus some nice laterals and the insane rattling after the big drop [:D]

chickenbowl, people like to make excuses like that when they work for them. Jake isn't the only one to say that same thing...you can't judge a ride when you haven't ridden. People do that every time they choose to visit one park over another based on their coaster selection, then go telling others they can't judge without riding. Silly if you ask me...and yes I only chose those rides as an example lol.

That's true. It comes down to personal preference. I'm just saying that you can't judge that El Toro is neccessarily better, although that is what the poll says. (It's so close, I'll let myself be the judge of that)

I'm just excited because this summer, I'm finally going to the East Coast to ride Ride of Steel, Bizarro, BDash, El Toro, and Nitro. I'm tired of my top coasters being Diamondback, Millenium Force, and Tatsu.

Boulder Dash is one of the best if not the best wooden coaster I rode during the 2010 season. That said, El Toro is the second best.

50.8% BD
50.2% ET

Thats just me mind you. Both rides are absolutely incredible for different reasons. (This coming for a guy who didnt like El Toro at all until 2010.)

Make sure to ride Bizarro in the rain. Great times...

[lol]

And Dan, no one here is comparing Dash to a kiddie coaster. I'm comparing Dash to Toro and I have the right to say that because I have been on both, and you haven't. Once you have I will respect your opinion.
