Getting closer to completion!

According to the park's Facebook, these where the last pieces to be installed so track work has been completed.

The Stengel, curve, corkscrew maneuver looks sick from this angle.

It's cool how they did three different diving elements all close to each other. This entire ride is basically made up of dive loop variations.

Just noticed the chairlift goes through the fat loop!

Is it just me or does the radius on top of that lift seem really small even for a eurofighter?
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Looks normal to me. Speed's is really tall and slender, too. Also, does that lift structure make anyone else's butthole tingle?

Nice to know you have a total inability to wipe properly.

Doesn't look that funky to me. They are trying to make "well-known" loop elements look special! ;)

Looks like Adventureland didn't open today due to rain and temperatures in the 40s. That stinks when you have to cancel Opening Day. :|

Anyway, Monster is not scheduled to open until sometime in June.
Adventureland Park will NOT be opening today unfortunately - 40's and raining (and continued rain called for all day) is making us call a Mother nature do-over.
The Band Festival held in our Palace Theater will go on as planned. All Band Festival, Substance Free and DARE tickets (the tickets originally valid only 4/30, 5/1, 5/7 and 5/8) will be extended and have a new expiration date of June 30, 2016.
The Season Pass office by the front gate will be open today until 3pm to take photos and make season pass cards if you would like to get your 2016 season pass made today.
Let's try again tomorrow!

The park has been advertising a June opening since it was announced last summer, so I don't think it's postponed or delayed.

Anyway, I like how the coaster interacts with the skyride.

It looks like there are trims or something on the track in the valley right before the final Stengel. Or maybe it's something else on the track.

I see trims too. I wonder if they're mechanically retractable or permanent. I'm curious to see how they're going to deal with the chairlift--Normally I wouldn't be too worried about falling objects, but they are ski lift cars which seems particularly dangerous. I'd assume that those track sections will have tunnel netting placed over them but we'll see.

I'd bet money that some bitch ass teenagers are gonna make it a game to see how many things they can hit from the chairlift and ruin it for everyone.

I'm sure there will be nets. I think. You would think that Gerstlauer could see any kind of lawsuit coming from a mile away by now and that they would advise Adventureland.

If they really have nets, they should be grey to be a better match for supports! :)
