Awesome!

Mini Update Time!
Some scene work taking place as a brake from track work. Finally figured out how to use the paint layer tool, so this is going to be awesome when it's done!

Turns out, adding all the roll vertices to one element at the same time, and only adjusting one of them, makes for a a crazy twisty g-force rainbow!

Seems I've been playing too much Nolimits 2 recently... I need a 'brake' from designing

BETA VERSION 0.35
I'm releasing 0.35, because I can't quite work out the shaping on the 2nd reverse immelman and would like some input. :)

And although they took forever to upload, here's some general hi-res screenshots for all the positive feedback so far :D

"Parking Lot Area" really fits with the flat rides! Edit: Wow your coasters are really long! Thanks for the details you posted later! :)

I have this habit of making very long coasters....

Current length of LiveWire, which is about 80% complete in terms of track work.

I think my next one will be a compact Premier Rides coaster or something similar. Haven't done one of those before!

Beta Update 0.5 Preview!
I'm working too fast for my own good. So we're skipping 0.4 and heading right into 0.5! Here's a little teaser image to get you guys fired up :D
0.5.jpg

My god... I'm making a much shorter ride next time

That's why you shouldn't have launched the coaster so fast! the coaster races thru the track so fast, you feel you have to keep it going.
A slower coaster feels longer than it should, because you don't waste track on very large inversions.
It seems like the coaster so far is inversions after inversions, try some maverick elements, quick turns, little hills. stuff like that. Maybe a heliex? slow it down!

That's the plan from here on out. My idea is this from where the track ends:
LIVEWIRE MAP.jpg

Red is underground, blue is above ground, and pink is the final brake run.

I like it, but I feel like there should be one more inversion before the end of the ride.

I'll try to fit another inversion in there. Will probably release 0.5 tomorrow after I finish the dive loop/2nd tunnel! :D

Sorry I haven't had time to give some good feedback on the ride! However I think you should roll the dive loop a bit earlier and have the actual apex of it completely upside down - if that makes sense?

Yep, makes sense. I tried it out, and the loop is much smoother now! This is what is looks like on-ride, the red arrow is the apex.

I think I figured out how to fit another inversion in there. This is an updated version of the previous layout plan:

Had this entire thing typed out when a power surge hit... so I'm typing this all up again! Here goes:

We're halfway there! :D
woo!.jpg

BETA VERSION 0.5
Tons of updates in this version, so let's get on with it!
- Almost 3000 feet of new track!
screenshot-2014-07-23-21-29-02.png

- 2 airtime hills, 133 feet & 115 feet
screenshot-2014-07-23-21-54-27.png

- 270 helix into the 1st parking lot tunnel
screenshot-2014-07-23-21-54-37.png

- Overbank out of the 1st tunnel, into a dive loop that drops back into a 2nd tunnel (layer paint will be adjusted later)
screenshot-2014-07-23-21-54-47.png

- The layout plan from here on out.
MAP2.jpg

A few minor changes have also been made with feedback from beta testers, so keep the criticism coming! It helps a lot, and won't go uncredited!

Beta testers will receive the track tomorrow, I've got a few more things to finish up with the file.

Pre-0.6 Update!
My computer is already starting to lag in the editor, so unfortunately I had to cut the ride short if I wanted to keep extensive scene work in. I was able to fit the final inversion though! :D
Final.PNG

Now the next feature... support color. Which color do you guys like best? White, Grey, or Black? (The supports here are prefabs simply thrown on as references and not final, if you were wondering)

^ I wanna ride this badly! It would be fun to pass the tunnel at the bottom of a Norwegian Loop! 8-)

Well since I got no feedback on the support color (trying to make this fun and interactive with you guys :|) I'm just gonna go with the black. But enough of my sulking... let's get on with the update!

BETA UPDATE 0.6
- Final 287 feet of track added, which completes the very lengthy 8,591 foot layout!
fnished.PNG

And that's basically it for this update. Beta testers should have already received the file, and although there are only a few beta tests left, more helpers are always encouraged to help out! You will not go uncredited for your help on this project :D
