MY NL 1.55 DOESN'T WORK

MY NL 1.55 DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, a black screen (like normal) comes up but the icons(ride, track, setup, info, etc.) are dissapeared and where the title is supposed to be is a green box! If you can, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Update your Graphics Card. Also make sure you have a graphics card capable of handling NL 1.55.

Windows
To check: Right click on your desktop and click on Properties.
Then click on the Settings Tab.
Under where it says "Display" it should tell what kind of monitor you use (or Plug N Play) and then what graphics card you have. This really should be ATI or NVIDIA. If not, please tell me here what it is and we can determine if you can run NL.

If it does say NVIDIA or ATI, then list what it says and I can point you to the correct site to download new drivers to install.

It says "Dell M991 on 64 MB DDR NVIDIA Geforce 4 Ti 4200 with TV Out"

Am I assuming you use Windows XP? If so, download this:

ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/81.85 ... h_whql.exe

When its done, install it to its default locations and then restart your computer is nessicary. All should be ok after that.



If you use Win 95 / 98 / ME then download from this link:
ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/77.72 ... nglish.exe

Follow same procedures.

I had that problem. It's not the graphics card, or drivers, or at least I don't think it is. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Thats how I got mine to work.

completely uninstall Nolimits or just 1.55?

Well I would advise a graphics card update anyways...it never hurts

If thats the case, try to reinstall everything. Something probably got corrupted.
