I have a big problem and it is driving me insane...

A few weeks ago, we reformatted the whole computer to get a fresh start. I go and install NL after I redownload drivers and whatnot, and go to play... Starts up fine and all, load track all is good, then I play and either it...

A.) Starts to lag and then it goes to a blue screen... Unable to do anything. No error message, nothing. Just a blue screen that you cannot do anything but restart computer.

or...

B.) You ride the track fine, go to exit the simulator and boom... Blue screen. As with A, same results. Nowhere to go but to reboot.

Now im trying to figure out what is going on here! I get no errors, my drivers are up-to-date, and I always get this blue screen! At first I thought maybe the install file on my burned CD was messed up or whatnot so NL sent me a new install link but no change... I really need help here! What to do, something. Here is what I am working with...

AMD Athlon 1.47 GHz
768MB RAM
Radeon 9600 Graphics Card
Most recent Catalyst Driver

Before we reformatted, the game ran perfect! I always got 45-100FPS on most rides with all settings put to the max. I don't see what is going on now. It is making me sad. I need NL...

Is this the "Fatal Error" blue screen where physical memory dumps?

Blue Screen of Death!

Make sure you have the correct display drivers. This could be a problem.

Thats all i can think of at this point in time.

If not then i suggest you reinstall nolimits.

One more thing : Check the event viewer too,

Start - Run - eventvwr.msc

Yeah, I was trying to help him diagnose the issue -- but I think Matt hit it right on about what could be the issue.

That was my other thought. It could be that a file in the oparting system has got itself corrupt and causing errors, no need to totally reformat. Shove the boot disk in at start up and do what you did before but just repair the os this time.

Like Matt said, check the OS thats the most likely source of the problem.

Are you running a differnt OS from before?
