Yeah I think it's the 2nd launch that goes into that big tower element posted on TPR and it leads into that clip of the video.

Link to the tower element?
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Ok, so the large straight section in the vid was a launch, just missing the LSM fins? I was confused there for a sec.

I don't think so. I'm guessing the grey areas on the map are launch/station/brakes, and that would mean that there is a launch before the tower element and one on the way back.

The straight section in the vid is just a trench that follows the tower element.

I was kinda thinking all the straight sections would be boosters of some sort. Maybe wishful thinking, but I think it'd be cool.

How can you be so sure?

http://www.bgtguide.com/bgt/project2011 ... posite-map

On that layout you can see 3 types of track:
regular track - orange
station/brakes/launch - orange with black lines and grey fill
trench/tunnel - orange with black lines

Plus, just by looking at the layout, you can clearly see that it would make no sense to have a launch in that place.

How exactly does that work? I see where the track enters but not where it exits.

^ You are actually looking at the launch from head on with that tower structure between you and the launch so you cannot see the train climb up to the top because of the center support in this very poor concept picture. The coaster then exits your view down the hill to the left of that picture.

Lets all argue about it before it's created.

Play on words of sorts, I was just trying to say there seems to be nothing but transitions, one after the other. Hence, tranny fetish.

Wow that video made my sad...I really hope it's not going to be that disappointing...and that tower element looks about as thrilling as a cool5 coaster. No offense, could not think of a better comparison. XD

I think there will be 2-3 inversions, based on the plans and videos.

dcs, are you thinking the bits that I have highlighted in red may be inversions? Or are you talking about something else?

I'm not sure whether or not they will be, I kinda hope so, cus if it is genuinely just transition after transition, it's not going to be quite as good as I originally thought it might be. But, we'll have to wait and see I guess.

^What you have marked as number 3 is briefly seen at the end of teaser video 1, and it looks a whole lot like a barrel roll. Since 1 and 2 look the same from the top view, it will either be barrel rolls as well or S-turns, or a combination of both.

Those are what I was referring to. I actually expected the first part of the blue section would be a corkscrew, but as we've seen from the second video that's not the case. Anyways, I think you could see #3 (which would actually come first in the layout) in the video, and from the geometry those listed as #1 and #2 look to be like an ascending curve continuing into a barrel roll, then a full barrel roll, continuing the rotation into what might be a descending curve, straight into the next launch. The reason I said there may be only two inversions is that curve into the element could then rotate the opposite way, have 1 barrel roll, then stop the bank and go back to the right, but the heartline there makes it look to me like that's not the case.

Anyone have an idea what's going on with the element on the bottom right? Looks like an overbank, but I feel like there aren't any launches before that, and the curve entering it is much tighter than the turnaround. Maybe just a slow lefthand turn then a bit of a drop into a trench, then the first launch?

Hmm... I would think if it were just a slow turn, they'd make it tighter to save space. Maybe it actually launches out of the station...

Incidentally, does anyone think that the area between 1+2 and 3 looks like airhill, turn, airhill, turn?

I really hope it's not just fast. Better have good forces otherwise it's useless.
