I have finally started a new project after uploading the Juggler last January. It's a completely custom-built (no tools) GCI woodie. It still needs a name, a better color scheme, and some custom supporting. I tried to make the ride as twisted as possible, while keeping it intense right up until the end with quick turns and small hills. I would like to make some 3ds for this ride, but I will probably just make scenery out of supports. I couldn't upload the 3ds I had made for The Juggler, due to my slow internet connection [:(].

Here are some of the statistics:
Height: 113 ft.
drop height: 89 ft.
drop angle: 54 degrees
max vertical angle: 54.2 gegrees! That's right, the 1st drop isn't even the steepest drop on the ride! The steepest drop is only 37 ft high!
max speed: 47 mph
max g-forces: vert: +4.5, -1.8 lat: 1.5
ride time: 2 minutes
track length: 3025 ft.
moments of airtime: 22
max banking: 75 degrees
crossovers: 30

Check it out! http://nldc.interfix.net/p1293

WHOA, looks real twisty, I like that. -1.8 vertical g's is a bit much though

It all looks good up untill the brake run and how its situated to the ride. It just has this "This is where I wanted to stop" feeling. Its a minor detail but its one that sets apart a well thought out ride from one that maybe was abandoned late just to finish it up and not lose hope on it.

Not too many rides that I have been on hit brakes, then turn 180, then brakes again then a 90 degree to the station.

Other than that (dont take that as so negative) it looks very good.
Youll need a good dose of lateral support for that thing however ;)

I have changed the ending for the ride, but I think it still needs some more excitement. I'm trying to make an amazing finale, like back-to-back 4-g helices, or something like that.

A 4g's helix on a GCI isnt realistic at all.

Also, its not CRAZYGONUTZ unbelievable that the first drop isnt the steepest, thats not uncommon.

I have added 3 new pictures...
http://nldc.interfix.net/p1293

I made the colors darker to look more ominous.

The train is now only 10 cars long, so it flies through the course much faster than before.

I added some terraforming.

The finale is now an upward helix with a lead-in banked at 85 degrees[shocked]

I think the track is now going to be a fantasy coaster, since it goes up to +4.9 and -1.9 g's. I'm not planning on reducing the g's, since they are a part of the whole intense nature of the ride[pshades]

New colors look great. Will you be custom supporting this coaster. because it does kinda need it.

I will upload it once I smooth out the transitions a little more, finish the lateral bracing for the supports, make the scenery (3ds station, pathstrees, flags up the lift hill, etc). I also have to come up with a good name for it. I'm not really sure how much longer it will take.

http://nldc.interfix.net/i11181 Can wood bend in that fashion?? [lol]

Looks really nice! Even though it isn't really realistic and more of a fantasy coaster like you said, it should still be quite a fun ride to ride in NL.

I can't remember my NLDC password![:(!] I guess I'll have to make a new account[:(]

I still haven't decided on a name, but I have done some lateral support work for the first drop.

Unfortunately, I may have to redo the last part of it, because the supports start to look messy where the footers follow the terrain.
