Pretty soon hopefully. Then the track uploading sites will be swarmed with wooden coasters. Sadly steel coasters will receive a slight dip in the designs of, after a month or so, it should go back to normal I hope.

This really looks awesome [8D] Can't wait to try it out in the editor myself. The track really looks cool, the textures look cool, everything about this update is cool [8D] Another great piece of art from the NL team [8D]

Well when looking at the first screenshots, I wasn't expecting it to look like this at all, I think it looks alot better then Scream Machines woodies. Can't wait to download the update. [8D]

a question: what is the maximum banking do you think we will be able to achieve with these woodies? i assume it wont be 90 degress or above. i have started to plan a new woody that will be the greatest woody of all time, and if a turn requires heavy banking but i cant get more than 35 degrees like with the NL wood builder, i am in trouble, so thats why i ask

You will be able to do pretty heavy banking, but up to a point. If you keep your coaster realistic, the automatic woodbuilder will support your coaster with no problems. If you are attempting to build a cobra roll, the woodbuilder won't work right.

You'll have to do your own support structure for that one. Again the woodbuilder won't work too well if you leave the bounds of reality for wooden structure. (Note that SoB does not use a wooden structure for the loop, so my comment still stands as true) If you really must have a loop, you can specify that no structure be built on those segments and manually put in your own steel backbone and supports for the loop.

looks pretty damn cool. I think after this updaye only will be one true coastersim ;)
Also what id like to see on NL is the loading platforms for floorless trains and also the dropping floors for inverted coasters, *maybe for the next update eh*

We need 4D coasters aswell, but lets give the NL team a rest, and prepare for the new wooden coaster update. [:D]

when i download wodden coasters now, u know with the steel looping one and stuff, it eats up my framerate so bad i cant even hardly get the thrill from riding it, will this be the same or will it better?

It will be alot better than the wooden coaster framerates most people are used to at this very moment. That is because the engine update and I also think that these supports are more FPS friendly than the old ones.

I was concerned about that problem Ipth5, well I certainly do hope it will be very smooth, because Tia's wood builder was making the game jerky, and I have a high spec PC aswell.

For some reason a close up picture of the 4th train did not make it into the batch that Ole released. The 4th style is the 2 bench PTC. He may have felt that was pretty much a given since we have the 3 bench PTC in as well.
