I think this is both a non-enthusiast and enthusiast saying that is completely wrong on all levels. I hear it at least once every 15 minutes:

I heard someone say they won't go on Kingda Ka because she heard from a friend that 1 or 2 of the water dummies heads fell off while it was testing. I'm saying in my head, A. perhaps this is because they didn't screw the head on very well, B. can the head even come off the water dummies?, C. Did the head fall off on purpose? D. How many deaths have you seen because of Kingda Ka, the answer is 0.

But this lady had no issue riding El Toro, which in my opinion has a higher chance of killing you with a lapbar only, and the headchoppers, and the insane airtime.

The ones at Great Adventure have heads, at least most do, and they all have funny faces on them, but after a close look at them, I don't think the heads can be removed. Unless it breaks off.

-Someone who sat next to me on Thunder Run claimed that it went 70 mph.
-Sometime before it closed, I remember one of my sister's friends claiming that Kentucky Kingdom was planning to get rid of Mile High Falls and Twisted Twins and replace them with a big new steel coaster in 2010.
-During a family trip to Kings Island, I think at least one member of my group somehow got Invertigo and Diamondback confused just because they both have red and yellow colors on them, even tho they look nothing alike. I heard "meet up at Invertigo" and so we went there, only to find no one there. Turns out they were near Diamondback.

My friends and I were riding Batman and one of the restraints had 2 seatbelts attached to it instead of one and my friend sat in it and asked why it had two on the way up the lift. I said that the restraint was broken and he was going to fall out.
