It's a 1.5 bug

No I made a stone room above a waterway so no creatures could get at me, yet they do...

Mobs that are near a bed may interrupt a player's sleep even if they cannot reach the bed. Most noticeably, beds that were previously safe (could not be reached by mobs) may now allow mobs to spawn into rooms in which they could not normally spawn.

It's one of the new bugs in 1.5.

I'm used to just putting in an ip and a port, are you saying we input that web address in to minecraft? because that sounds retarded. Btw, If you want a british/american server, we should all get Hamachi for a smoother connection.

Edit: Casper, can I have the IP and stuff for that server? I only really like monsters online, it's just less fun alone.

Yeah you can enter a Web address into minecraft, after all , a web address is an IP address just in letters.

lol Yaminub's server is pretty nice. I'm starting to build a dug-out house there. They have a cool TTD recreation and another coaster that looks like Millennium Force.

I honestly have almost no idea what minecraft even is... I've heard the name several times, but as far as what you do in the game, not a clue.[dunno]

it basically is, but with monsters that try to kill you and only some gravity

I dont see why Minecraft looks so fun. 8 bit should not be matched with 3D, and it hurts my eyes.

I doubted it before I played it, tried it once, and became addicted...

Aj, I can't. Theres a door and it says I can not go through it.

The 8-bit takes a tad to get used to, but not long. Also, there are texture packs to make it look amazing if you want it to, but the terrain will still be blocky. However, the terrain needs to be blocky to fit the gameplay.

Is there a way I can try Minecraft without buying it? Whenever I open the executable it says I need to buy it to play.


EDIT: I made an account and I have been playing online. It a really fun game. I have not played in enough to see if I like it so much as to buy it though.

creepers dont burn in sunlight lol.

The unavoidable monsters are the first thing that makes me NOT want to play.

^^I thought they did! I guess that's just zombies.

^If you play on Peaceful mode, you can actually play without the monsters.
