Georgia Scorcher is basically an evolution of the Vortex designs (CGA, Carowinds) refined into something that's actually pretty sweet. Vortex @ CGA is the worst B&M I've ridden, Vortex @ Carowinds seems to have benefited greatly from being designed a year later and I find it to be fairly decent to this day. Patriot will be a better ride than its predecessors, just as Rougarou is. The whole park is becoming very patriotic with Flight Deck in red and Patriot now blue, but it's appropriate.

...also Flight Deck is still the best ride in the park and the best invert in California.

Kind of agree TBH. Not that the blue-and-white is bad, but I always thought the old color scheme stood out in a good way!

Looks like they're almost done with painting. They certainly didn't waste any time.

That actually looks a ton better than I thought it was going to look.

Dang it, looks like I've already missed my opportunity to ride it at least once more as a Stand up. I always liked that 90?? bank into the corkscrew.

Truthfully I think they should offer both trains on the floorless conversions. One train standup and the other floorless.

Not quite convinced the station would be able to function what with the removable floor required for a floorless coaster.

Convert to a stand-up floorless train. Worlds first. :V
Would probably help a lot too because the seats can stay in a fixed position.

Ah didn't think about that :/ that would pose a problem without massively redesigning the station floor mechanics

I always thought it would be better to have the floor lower under each individual seat until it senses no weight is on it and then rise up 5 centimeters, but people would get shoelaces and stuff stuck in the cracks between floor pieces. A system like that with vest restraints would eliminate guest stupidity and headbanging from the equation.

Just have a dual station like Tatsu.

That blue looks really good. It will be a little strange seeing it when walking into CGA, but I like the look better than that of Vortex.

You could probably do it with custom designed trains and station mechanics, but simply using B&M's stock components wouldn't work. If building a ride from scratch, a dual station would probably allow this to work relatively easily, but that's a bit hard to add on an existing ride.

Togo did it with dual stations, don't see why B&M couldn't manage.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

That's sit down and stand up if I'm not mistaken. Not floorless.

Pricinple would still be the same I guess - just space is a huge factor and building a complete new station perhaps takes away from the "budget" option of converting the ride to a floorless.

Been yesterday to the Winterfest in the park. Haven't spotted any trains, but I gotta say that the blue paint looks good!

I think I saw that the floorless platform is installed, but it was hard to capture that on a picture in the evening.

You're all probably going to think the ride is weak when it opens, but oh well. The blue looks nice, but I kind of liked the Vortex colors even though they looked "special" once the sun hit them.

I always thought the ride was kinda weak and short. That's why I still think this floorless conversion is a bit silly.

Looks like CGA is removing Firefall, their HUSS Top Spin. Cedar Fair has been removing a lot of their Top Spins lately so this doesn't surprise me.
