The new Rollercoaster at Conny-Land in Switzerland is completed and ready for 2010 season.

The coaster was supposed to be completed a couple years earlier, but due problems with transportation, The Rollercoaster arrived almost 2 years later then planned. The construction started at the end of 2008 and due more problems the Rollercoaster couldn't open for the 2009 season. Because the park didn't want any construction during the season, the ride had to wait until the end of the year to be completed.

Some Rollercoaster Stats:
Length: 705.4ft / 215m
Height: 137.8ft / 42m
Inversions: 1
Speed: 52.8mph / 85km/u
Capacity: 720 rph

Here are some photo's from the oldest to the newest:

Well, Pax builds very cool rollercoasters so I can't wait to try this out next year! [:)] It's only about an hour and half further down from Europa Park. [:D]

lol, they cut a hole in the top of the kiddie ride so that they could put a support there. and yeah, that ride looks painfully rough
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

I can't until some idiot climbs onto the track from the parking lot and gets them killed. It's going to be really really funny.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little bit of yourself to get the job done.

I see a lot of technical problems with this ride already. For one the friction is way to high on the trains, look how fast they loose speed. Second the train hits the bumper at the top and reverses. That's a big no-no. Third it looks flimsy as hell. Feel like I'm about to break that damn thing just looking at it.

A very under-engineered ride, it looks more like something you would design in high school physics than a real life ride. To start with, it is very under supported, so when the ride begins to settle, the awkward shifts in the track (mainly transitions) will become worse. PAX should have used a large diameter tube for the rails and spine, so I'm sure this ride vibrates terribly.

But as for the ride itself, I really like the concept and positioning. The bunny hops will provide some very intense airtime. I would still ride it!

I thought Pax were Russian anyway? The ride is just in Switzerland, i believe they are a Russian company based in Moscow.

Looks interesting to say the least. [lol]

anyway i couldn't really tell if the train actually hit the bumper, it seemed like it was going really slowly forwards and then the next second it had accelerated extremely fast backwards.

They didn't have any audio of the ride, I bet it sounds like a train wreck every 60 seconds.

I really hope that was just the camera stuttering at the part where the train reverses. Otherwise, it looks like the train is bouncing off of that bumper with a lot of force.

Looked to me like the video quality is what made the ride seem to accelerate and decelerate too fast.

Wow, no nets. Anyone wanna take bets on how long it takes for someone's cell phone to go through someone's car's window?

I bet you the ride suffers a catastrophic structural, electrical or mechanical failure before a cell phone can become a weapon of guest destruction.

Correct, Pax Company is a Russian Company in Moscow. [:)] This is the one of the fewer Pax Coasters outside Russia. To my knowledge there are like only 3 other coasters outside Russia and the Eastblock countries. (And I've ridden them all and I love them all! [lol])
