They didn't really say anything about the movie, like when it's coming out?

Edit: woah, it's not coming out for 2 years[xx(]

having arnold be the masterchief would be retarded. Just a big guy like Miechle Duncan from the Green Mile play him, and have the guy who plays him in the game voice it over, but if they show the master cheif without the suit, Mike's voice is deep enough where it would be convincing of the character.

highly doubtful arnold would take the partif offered. he would immediately be attacked by the party's in saying he is taking sides with the movie industry as a special interest group. So with that said, he cannot risk his political career with such a thing in my opinion. He sucks though as a governor.

The probably would need someone to sound similar to masterchief, or do what they did with darth vader, and overlay the main voice they will use over the actors voice.
What would you say if someone like Vin Diesal(dont know how his last name is spelt)played masterchief?

^ I read in a gaming magazine, and they thought he could be in it too. My opinion is I don't think he can really handle the attitude of Masterchief, but I don't know, we'll see. But I still think the guy from the green mile would be a good choice, cuz he's freaking tall and he's got the voice, and he's proven that he can do drama, and action, and comedy with his other movies.

I just don't see Halo becoming a good movie, at least if it centered completely around the MC. Why might you ask? There could be alot more to develop for a story perspective than offering a sci fi twist of the Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal movies from not while back. Unless they actually show him outside of his body armor suit thing, the audiance (in general, not fans of series) would have feelt no attachment to his character becuase they won't quite understand what the hell he is. Since Peter Jackson is producing this, WETA Digita will probably lend a hand in it too, so whos to say MC might be a Computer Generated Character much like Gollum or King Kong.

The only major game they have left of making a movie into is either starcraft or starcraft Ghost.[dorkhat]

I think Bruce Willis should play the master cheif because he's got the right voice, and he's a natural when it comes to roles involving the military[;)]

Dude, it doesnt come out till the 21st of this month. What do you mean it flopped? LOL

Quite frankly, the trailer looks SWEET. Sure, it wont be a hit with anyone else other than gamers, but to actually do the "FPS" view in a movie is sweet.

^ i thought it already came out, cuz they were advertising it last month, and I no longer see advertisements.[lol]
And I, personally, am not a big fan of the "FPS" cinamatography. When I go to the movies, its usually for a story, and when 80% of the commercial is in FPS, (a camera view that will probably hinder the story if used to much) then you start thinking to yourself. Will I see it? Maybe, but I might just watch it at home since my dad has a projector, and surround sound to basically make the theater envoirnment, except with comfier chairs.[:P]

From what I have seen, the FPS segment is only around 5 minutes long, (if thats 80 % if the movie they payed way to much for it) and is to just make another connection with the great video game. I think its pretty cool becuase its never really been done before to the extent they are making it out to be. The story is probably a tad bit better than most other video game to film adaptations and they have done quite a bit of work to make it look like Doom 3. I read an article about it in PCGamer and when they stepped on the set, they thought they stepped right into the game itself.

I have high hopes that this one won't suck.
