I really think the Voyage should be alone out there in that corner of the park. Thanksgiving may be a small area, but something else of that size would just be wrong.

I like the awkward lift hill that accommodates two cars.

While the lift is innovative, I agree and think its kinda corny. The money should have been invested on a steel coaster. [:P]

^I'm already dissatisfied that this isn't another wood coaster. I don't know what I would've done if it was a steel coaster.

This thing looks beast IMO. Definitely fun. Capacity is probably amazing with that lift, not to mention the nice big cars. Did anyone else notice how there's tilting while going up the elevator lift? That will freak some people out!

That looks like a really long drop. 45 foot tall, 90 foot wide water wave would be really cool to see in person.

^True if the wave is that tall that would be cool to see in person. But imagine all the water they would be wasting with all the displaced water?!

well......... if you looked at the little drawn out concept drawings, it shows that the splash will not even go outside of the splash zone, the splash zone is MASSIVE, just so you know

So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I hope they have a bridge you can stand on so you can watch the wave rushing towards you.

lol speaking of owning...

This looks absolutely insane. My only complaint is that it's only a 45-degree drop. I loved Knott's Perilous Plunge 70-something-degree drop. It's actually one of my favorite drops ever. I'm worried that the drop won't be too much fun given the angle.

I'll ride just to expirence the elevator lift. I also wanna see what that kinda wave that speed and weight will generate.

Reminds me of the splashdown at Hersheypark...it's pretty tall and the wave is massive. They had to add walls to the bridge because it would knock people right off.

It's not the first water ride with a lift though...JTA at SeaWorld San Diego has an elevator lift, as do various raft rides in Europe.

^But that lift is really bizarre. It's kind of sketchy the way it tilts and allows for two platforms to pass eachother. It also looks undersupported in my eyes, but either way it's a really cool water ride. The only thing that could make it all the better would be a steeper drop.

I'm not sure you necessarily want a steeper drop on that ride though. Perilous Plunge has had safety problems in the past and you're much safer with a lower angle. Additionally, a drop with less steepness will have sections at the bottom and top with a smaller slope transition so there is less stress on the boat wheels.
