For the most part I've got the AHG preatty figured out. I've got succsesfully used it on many 'practice' projects. When I attempted to use on a rocket coaster with vertical rotations it went preatty bad. I've been messing with it, trying to get it to work for the past week.[confused]I'm out of ideas and at my wits end with it.
Any help would be oh-so-much appreaciated.

I don't know a tremendously lot about how it works and what not, but I have heard compliants that it is vertically challenged.

It doesent work right vertically. Although you could heartline the element flat, then flip it vertically in the purg...

No it wouldnt...

You could also have it not to perfect vertical but to 89.9 which no one else will know the difference anyways.

Wouldn't the speed would be off? When you're riding the twisting sensation would increase when the speed increases, it wouldn't be constant.

Thats what the speed controls are for. You figure the input and output and put it in accordingly.

Plus, wouldnt you control that manually anyways?

I made a top hat horizontally, and then flipped it in the purg, and the banking was screwed. It was 89degrees or something like that.

I created a top hat at 89.5 degrees - hand banked and ran through the AHG and works perfectly.

Heres the result - which I might add was with one of the first versions of the AHG so its not as smooth as it would be now.

Hmm... I can't quite get the banking to be constant. I controled the banking by meself too.

yeah i made a tophat at 89.9 degrees hand banked then put through the AHG. Works fine as long as you colour the right segments black.

Strange. Mine where hand banked too, and it ended up totally screwed up. And it was an inverted top hat, so I didn't need to colorcode anything[;)] I must take a closer look and see what I did wrong. Reworking the banking was a pain in the ass.

You do need to colour code things though, because you must have had one side of the top hat turning for it to be inverted, meaning you would need to colour code it so the AHG knew to keep that banking. Otherwise it will just go crazy with the banking trying to get rid of all the laterals and airtime possible?

About 70-80 minutes of work spread over a couple hours.

Really needed more refinement on the downward spiral but I think those laterals are fine. Dragster and Ka both have some nice lats coming down through the spiral in the back seats.

I need some major help with the Top Hat I'm making, it's like Stealth's Top Hat.
It's banking it too early and it looks like crap...
I have pictures...

Make some of the segments around is to use con roll. Make the roll up more gradual too.

Heres a better example. I increased the rotation on both sides which in turn created a few more lats but only in the outer seats to the spin which is natural. Outer seats on Dragster near the rear give some nice rotational laterals.

I can provide the original file if you wish. I use all Elementary and it was very easy. Came in 3 peices for entire top hat.

Track consists of:

Station
Launch
Pull In
Both sides of Top Hat
Pull Out
Airtime Hill
Pull Out
Brakes
Turn around
Brakes

Thats how many peices. All straight peices were made by hand the rest was elementary and very, very simple.
