I've been messing around trying to figure out what I wanted to make next, and ended up with 2 new projects. Both have completed layouts that still need smoothing.

First is an Intamin mini-hyper with a really twisted layout. Im really excited about this one and think i'll probably end up making this project my main focus for a while. No name or theme yet, but im thinking this one will have some pretty intense 3d work in it.

Next, a GCI woodie with the millenium flyer trains. This ride for me was more about the environment. I wanted this ride to be like a test ride before the opening season for this ride, and have a ride on it in the snow. I kind of got the idea from seeing Thunderbird being tested in the snow. Dont quite know if this one will last though. I didnt realize how much of a pain it is to make my own snowy trees... [:)]

Any comments or questions would be appreciated?

Look good so far. That mini-hyper looks really nice. if you would heartline it.. well that's really just wishful thinking, but that really looks nice.

Wasn't too impressed by the GCi, but it looks pretty good. Must be because all of your woodies are based in the woods.

Lookin promising.

Haha yea i agree about the woodie, i think that was more of just me screwing around. Im pretty sure that will end up in the scrapyard pretty soon.
About the mini-hyper... I think i will use the AHG. I usually dont like tools, but I really think that any Intamin or B&M ride needs the use of the AHG. Im starting to break from my ways... [B)] I know it will end up alot better that way though. I still wont use the AHG on my woodies though.

Ha. If you rode a new GG or a GCI youd change that comment.
Plus, you can specify a heartline of 0.0 which would mean there isnt one [B)]

Alright anyone want to test for the steel ride. The layout is pretty much finalized and i think is ready for the next step of work on it. About 2 testers would be great.

Some new pics up of the ride. 3ds are coming along smoothely, and alot better than i thought i could make them [:D]. So far i have made 3 underground tunnels, and 2 trenches, and still have alot more to go.
3 new pics posted- http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p1941

Comments appreciated.

3ds tunnels are coming along quite nicely. Although, in this pic: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i14097 the grass texture really needs to have a lower amount of repeats. The places where the textures join together are really obvious.

WTF of an element is this? http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i13836
looks like a weird kind of zero g-roll to me, on a hyper? It might be just the angle...
Also, I pretty much like that wood, the intamin-style turn looks nice.

Yeah, it looks like it was meant to be an airtime hill, but the AHG rotated it making it look like a Zero G.

I just posted a new pic to show how that element goes down. Not exactly a zero g but close. This track is extremely twisted and pretty disorienting so that element fits in with the rest of the ride. But i did mean for it to be like that.

I see. It makes more sense from that angle. Although I do think if you are going to make it a ride with inversions that you should add one or two more, just to be more stylistic. Maybe make this: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i13834 into a corkscrew.

^agreed, I'd personally say probably even more inversions, if you already have to take cars with OTSRs (well I know you can't in NL, but I don't think they'd make such an element on a hyper with lapbars in real life). OR you make it a fantasy coaster. Just my opinion.
