Hey everyone! After being frustrated for so long as to why my coasters were so unpopular, and even worse.....the horribly annoying chain lift sound in SM, I now have NoLimits too. I am almost finished with my first coaster which will be uploaded pretty soon. There are things I like better about this and about SM, but overall, the graphics and sounds in this game cannot be beaten. I also love the heartline display because it's already helping my perfect elements like barrel rolls and banks into curves. Anyway, I won't be letting up on my SM creations, but you guys will also be seeing alot of NL coasters from me. As a side note, here are some rides you can expect to see soon:

*Double out-and-back woodie (almost done)

*Kingda Ka (maybe)

*Viper (SFMM)

*Riverside Cyclone

*Medusa

*LOTS of wooden twisters

*LOTS of B&Ms

Don't worry man, I'm quite the perfectionist. I am starting with simple coasters like wooden out-and-backs and then steel hypers. I will not upload everthing I make, but I think getting rid of pumping is easier in this game than in SM. The only thing that's a pain in that there's no axis lock. I tried making an Arrow looper but am not ready for that yet. I can make perfect vertical loops, but corks and batwings are another story! [lol]

I wasn't trying to sound cocky. I just think I have a good jump on it since I've had so much SM experience. I won't talk about it, I'll just upload my ride because it's almost done and I really want to finish it.

EDIT: The ride's done for the most part, but I have one question. With the wooden supports, how do I make the steeple shape supports only where I want them instead of on the whole track? [confused]

yea I could actually imagine you having some pretty decent rides for a "n00b" since you've had experience with SM.

Select the track segments were you want it, tick some boxes and done.

Post your first ride and "we" shall rate it properly for you. Hopefully though, you actually take people's advice rather than getting all pissed and angry at everyone rightfully so who does not give a crappy ride high 9's. We shall see man ... bring it on!

Dick Ermen....no offense, but that doesn't help me. I've already selected track pieces and ticked just about every box there is. If I can't figure it out now, I'll just upload it but I will absolutely need that feature for my Riverside Cylcone recreation.

Double click the segment, hit "auto-supports", and make sure everything is checked except wide supports.

OK, look man -- you are living up to your title now. You got NL a day or so ago and you are posting a ride today? Unless you are some NL expert who has been hiding behing this "bowserjoe" alias, your ride is going to be spanked. Call it is prophecy if you must, but most well built rides take users weeks and months to create. You tossing one up in a few days is not going to be rated high. Before posting, I recommend you look at some of the rides that have been rated highly and see how they have been built and compare it with yours -- really man, save yourself the heartache.

Umm....I'm uploading right now, so I suggest you download it. My ride is very simple, but by reading your ignorant, and inconsiderate post I think you'll be blown away by......"Black Lightning."

DON'T PREJUDGE PEOPLE! IT'S NOT NICE.

Well good for you. That's another great simulation to have besides SM although I haven't had the patience yet to create anything on NL since I'm use to working on SM projects. Hope to see your track creations soon.

I saw ... a place holder has been left for a rate. Honestly, well, hopefully you take the comments to heart and actually apply them to your next ride.

However, you need to be corrected after this comment:

It is not prejudging, you are now hearing from those who are VERY experienced at NL and have learned things along the way. Trust me, no ones first ride is anything special, and normally gets spanked violently. And my thoughts after riding it once -- this submission is no exception to that.

Now your just digging yourself into a bigger hole...I assure you there arent any coasters with problems like that in the world. Take a closer look and immagine a real rollercoaster dude.... Yea now see what I mean? Your lift parabola is like National Geographic Status, its HUGE! Now thats not a problem or anything, I realize its your first coaster. Just dont blind yourself into thinking its something that it isnt...

What do you mean by lift parabola? And be more specific if you're going to claim that this coaster could never be real. I'd ride it in a flash, but maybe that's just me.
