Well, for rct3 you only need a mouse so one hand is still too much.[lol]
I could do even better without my hands!

I think the judges were like:
- entry 182: no, delete
- entry 183: no, delete
- entry 184: no, delete
- entry 185: no, delete
- entry 186: no, delete
blabla, etc etc...
- entry 1670: no, delete
- entry 1671: no, delete
- entry 1672: no, delete
- entry 1673: oh, poop this is the last one. Ok, let's pick this one.
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

However, looking at the skills of some people's ability to rate, it is not shocking that a loser track would win a dumb contest like this. I mean, I am sure it had a rate like:

wow this is just like awsome thank you for da great ride i would not change anything at all it just rulz

Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

I don't like RCT3 much... It should of been RCT2 and you had to make an entire park (realistic) and the age limit was 13+
Not much detail, but you get the idea...

4. JUDGING. Two rounds of judging will be completed: Prior to judging, all entries will be divided into one of three (3) categories (each a "Category") based on entrants' age as stated in the entry materials. Category 1 will include entrants 12 years of age and younger. Category 2 will include entrants 13 to 18 years of age. Category 3 will include entrants 19 years of age and older.

the kid din't win the contest, he just won his category[lol] in the contest so there are two more first prize winners, I don't know why they didn't announce them.

Still, when i was 12 I could easily make something much better

The idea is merely to promote RCT3, since it has failed to suceed on it's own as great continuation of the RCT series. Atari probably gave Hershey all the money for the contest.

Strange contest, not any serious challenge. Not much can be done with RCT3.

Ok I seriously think a monkey could do a better layout. It sucked basically. It lacked a decent layout, the pace love sucked the poop out of this world, the choice of elements literally was a retarted choice. I guess this kid either had a disease or something because the judeges must've felt sorry for him that they would let him win and give him hope, either that or they judges are insane retards who deserve to be in an asylum. You'd expect people to complain and give bad comments because of jealousy, but this track literally sucked for us to even complain about that reason.

"It's an outstanding design. I think this young man may one day be a future roller coaster designer," said Andy Jacobs of the Hershey Company.

Looks like the Mr. Jacobs has been hooked on dope!

If this kid was even to think that he was capable of getting a job at Intamin or B&M (Not that he would even know what those names were)and composed a presentation with such a coaster video he would definately get fired, oh wait, he wouldn't fired at all because he wouldn't be hired in the first place[:p]

A screen of the kid:

He clearly looks like a special kid. Not special as in unique, but rather then special ed. *Cough*Just like my sig*Cough*

yea the track was really bad
that kid did not deserve a 100,000 dollar scholarship
they should have used no limits instead of rct3
rct is so unrealistic

I love RCT2 but RCT3 sucks, it's as bad as the Sims Theme Park, only ran one time on my computer and took three years. If anyone thinks RCT3 is the best simulator out there then you have my sympathy. Well at least this kid didn't make those cheap exchange rides with 5000 lift hills and 20000000 inversions.
