Have any of you had problems with the fps' blanking? I've been running it on the same settings as 1.55, and it worked perfectly when I first ran it. then, I trasferred my objects and tracks, etc. over and now I get less than 0 fps. What's up wit dat?

I am fine... I have the highest settings running Reflections and all and I still average at 64fps.[:D]

It starts out saying about 32 fps, then as soon as the little "onboard view" message goes away, I'm down to 0. Someone help me!

But why does everything sound strange in the Simulator? It's like 'robot-electro' sounds. The station acceleration, for example, sounds very vibrating. What's wrong here?

Scroll has always been zoom on the mac version. That's a feature I'm happy they moved to the other version. I use it all the time.

hmmmm does anyone else have it so the spinning coaster has no station?

edit: NVM station was too small. I love the update though. The zoom wheel is cool but will be hard to get used to.
Go chuff yourself and have a nice day! :D

anyone else but me loving the automatic support replacement after deleting a vertex? no more scrunched up supports!!

and in regards to the terraformer, it hasn't change at all. It was packaged in 1.5 too. As far as I know, there's nothing different about the in-editor and the external ones from 1.5

Target view is the view where it follows the train automatically and "zooms" in and out. You'll see it in the teaser video, they use it on most of the shots, but to be specific, the one with the new looper trains.

The target view is pretty sweet, the target and tracking views make the ride look so cool.

yea, I love watching a B&M go up the lift from the station in target view.

anyone else glad that tunnel testing isn't legit now? I mean it was kinda cool, but its not that hard to use common sense. well actually no, I won't say that since most people have a hard time visualizing a certain length without a guide.

Yes, I also did see a very noticeable improvement in that area. With the track smoother button FINALLY available, it just makes building NL sooooooo much easier, now I can let my creativity run completely wild![^][:p]

I find that the smoother doesn't do much if you can hand build *don't wanna sound cocky but* as well as I can. I only notice little improvements every time I use it, but it does make things go a bit more smoothly [:p]

Im almost certain that you cant visualize things within a few feet of being legit or not. Thats what it was there for - the really close calls.

Well, that is pretty cocky. But with that aside, it does some things fairly well and others not so well. I still find my smoother that I bought with the full version of the CK still does a much better job. However, this does half of the work for me so that the CK can really do what its meant to do - iron out the small details.

And when it comes to designing, its all about the small details. So if you have a small little blip here or there, especially if you AHG it, it may show up a little more than you wished.

Smer, having a smooth ride with lacking shaping and/or layout doesn't prove much, and is nothing to brag about. Work on your shaping some, and keep working on smoothing because it definately needs improvement right now. Not saying you're cocky or anything like that, as that was only one statement, not enough to judge you on. But, note that if you say something like that, you open yourself up to scrutiny unless you can 100% back it up, or have in the past.

This smoother is NOT a miracle tool. Please, for the sake of decent tracks, don't just throw a whole ride through the smoother and call it a day. You'll almost definately need to smooth, reshape, resmooth, etc. many times before achieving the desired shape and quality.

I'm curious as to why nobody seems to have had Buster's smoother... it's not very different from this one. It confuses me when people are all "WOW OMG in-game smoother, now I can make a million tracks easily" when they basically had almost the same thing before. Yes, it's more convenient, but only slightly so... how long did it take to open Buster's program and smooth a track? 20 seconds?

One thing that should help is the ability to smooth certain spots separately from other sections of track.

i had Buster's smoother, but i didn't use it that much cuz sometimes it changed the layout compleatly, its def better to smooth certain spots, u have more control over your layout.

One thing I would suggest anybody who is using 1.6 and posts a track should specify if the improved friction option has been used. This will stop tracks being rated incorrectly (comments like train didn't make it back to the station).

Owen Jay I had to disable the improved friction with my old tracks cause they did not reach the station:but with the new ones it is ok.
In the American Revolution(the latest track)is disabled.

Good idea owen.

And yea all the little features such as if you delete a vertex it doesn't screw up the track or if you delete a vertex it doesn't screw up the supports are REALLY awesome and handy. This saves you hours of work if you decided to make some slight banking or vertex changes.

BTW, these flyers are hard to build! :P
