Ok so my new Nolimits 1.6 onride view in the simulator is bumpy. Is this a feature that everyone is experiencing to make the coaster seem more realistic and "vibraty" or is this just something with my settings. The video below is of an example. I really dont like this feature if thats what it is. Its annoying and unrealistic. Take a look and let me know

(the bumpiest is most extreme at the end of the launch. It the simulator is seems alot more bumpy)

It's called shocks, it can be enabled or disabled with the "F6" key.

Well, that is pretty cocky. But with that aside, it does some things fairly well and others not so well. I still find my smoother that I bought with the full version of the CK still does a much better job. However, this does half of the work for me so that the CK can really do what its meant to do - iron out the small details.

And when it comes to designing, its all about the small details. So if you have a small little blip here or there, especially if you AHG it, it may show up a little more than you wished.

Actually, I can't really be cocky at all anymore, because I just realized I had been pressing shift+g as opposed to ctrl+g the whole time. So I guess i was just imagingin things when I thought it got only a slight bit smoother. So yea... please excuse my cockyness

Ive noticed the "magnetic braking" On the Inverted is an un-done texture. Also, my sound seems "staticy" in way.

Other then that, its flawless! Amazing.

You probably have it on automatic, which only enables the motion blur when the train you're riding reaches a certain speed. Press 9 again to set it to on, so it will always show the motion blur.

Just got it, rode all the 1.6 tracks that came with it and a few of my old ones.

First impressions are
-The new steel tunnels seem really really big
-Love the sounds
-and the new camera stuff
-The new water makes the old ground texture look like crap. Its so good looking but 1 foot to the left it just looks out of place
-Spinning coasters are as disorienting as the real thing
-Details details details

Your guy's motion blur won't work unless you have a card with pixel shader hardware. At least thats the way its worked on all the other games that use motion blur.

I do not like motion blur. I can use it, but it just ruins the ride for me.

Yea i know, it's like as soon as there are spinners everyone is like OMFGZ SPINNERS! and they start throwing out tracks[lol]

and also..the smoother is great and all, really helps, but soometimes it completely distroys the shaping. Still a great feature though.

Haha I know, I had a vertical piece of track 99.99% smooth and the smoother murdered it O_o it was so pumpy after.

aside from that yea it's actually quite nice.

The motion blur seems to have an appitiete for frame rates. When the sim is running at around 70 + fps and I turn motion blur on it shoots down to 15 and stays there. odd.

The smoother will work GREAT if your track peices are around 20ft long. That also means for turns, you cant have peices that are over 30degrees in angle. I had a track I downloaded that had a helix made of like 3 segments and it murdered it.

I then took those segments, cut them up into alot more, then ran the smoother and it worked great.

Just like building normally, the keys are medium to small segments all similar in size and shape.

Anyone notice the "No Limits Screensaver"? Just go to your screensaver settings and check it out. Pretty damn cool if you ask me.
