Hello all! I'm so glad this site is back up again! Horray! Anyways, the first thing I stubled upon was the Maverick construction. Intregued, as we might be planning another trip there, I took a gander, and downloaded to POV animation, and I'm TOTALLY hooked! So I figured, as I gave up on the other project, that making a recreation in rct3 would be a good thing to get me back into the game. However, I do not know exactly how the station is set up <the buildings, line and exit>. If you know anything, can you please let me know? Also, if you have any scenery sets that you think would be helpful, please and thank you leave a link to them. Thats all for now, I will update later!

It's not the best, but is definitely technically possible (people better at themeing than myself could also pull off all of that crap as well!)

haha, funny story...I dont know what I should use...The Storm Runner has the correct cars, track, and some elements, but the LIM coaster hs the downwars turn! I have the track semi-completed with the LIM, I just have to fix the scenery. Does anyone know how I can make those rock tunnels? Mine look SO ugly. I think I'm going to end up making two recreations, the other being with the Storm Runner, and upload the two of them. And instead of doing the downward curve, I might just make a hill comming out of the tunnel. Stupid thing...lol. Anyways, please leave any comments/suggestions, cause I need them lol. ttyl.

Have you got Martemars Leftovers with the "Meatball" rocks? Those would work the best.. .

EDIT: [lol] LOL I said socks!

^he meens custom scenery. If you go to Cp's website they have 4 vid's. one is an action view or maybe the other one. well one of them at the end if you pause it it should give you a good pic of the station. Go to ataricommunity.com to find custom scenery, which you can JCAT's steelworx for supports. Sounds like it will be fun but to make the track......

GOOD LUCK

^rofl. So is NL. Well, actually, we can call NL more of a 4th to 5th grade building system. I suggest you get your hands on a good CAD/CAM system where you actually constrain things rather than point/click until it looks "about right."

The reason why I still use rctis because I don't have any motivation to get nl. Mainly because it is something you need a credit card for, which I dont intend to get one. Also, if my computer crashes or something, then Ill be sol. And finally, it is so confusing, and a majority of the tracks here are from nl, so i like to be different. As much as I prefer rct2, I still like rct3 because of all the new elements <plus I dont know where my rct2 went lol>. But ya...Maverick update! I decided to use the LIM coaster as it has all the elements. The track is done, I just have to work out a few kins before I start the scenery. I also have the first draft of the canyons done. I will rework them to make them better. Once I get home from work, I might do the tunnel or something. Also, I downloaded the videos, and did see the station, but I still dont know where the entrance and exit are, and I cant use the screen shot function on my computer, so Ill ask knoe of my techy friends, and ill upload it here, and if you could show me where they are, it would be awesome. Umm I think that's it, so Ill update later! toodles!

This is just comming out of the twisted horeshoe element of the track.

This is just enetering the mine part <when it does the turn around before the twisted horeshoe>.

I like this shot the best. It is obviously the first hill. Not exactly 95 degrees, but the closest you can get with rct3.

And finally the very first turn after the drop.

I know that it looks a little bare, but I will do the surounding area soon, but I want to get the station done first.

SPEAKING OF THE STATION: I managed to find a picture of the entire ride on the official web site, and cropped the station out. So I can begin construction on it. However, I still do not know where the line/exit are, so I can't do construction until I know where they are. If you have any information, please let me know! Thank you.

That's it for this update, I should be working on it tommorow,so I might have more pics then. See you soon!

Hello all! Just thought I'd give you an update. I haven't given up hope yet, but it is looking pretty thin, as there seems to be no comments/intrest from all of you. Anyways, I have been working HARD on that station, and I must say, it looks like...sh*t. I need some help from you guys to tell me where exactly to line/exit go, so I can make the station properly, as it is way to cluttered. So I need help! thanks.

This is turning out good for the limitations. Can't wait to see more.

And thundremat you can only say no pics no clicks if there is something to click on with no pic's showing wat it is.. Off topic.

Small update...I'm still trying to find out the station layout, so I emailed the official site, but they said they didn't know if they would be able to get back to me, so I'm still putting the project on hold until I know how to make the other side of the station. I will get pics later!
