Gazag, sorry for the rough time I previously gave you, and for the rough times that you have coming. I've deeply realized, I've been booted out of the contest, and that whether I made it to Round 2 or not, what the hell's it doing for me anyway?

While I'm not yet, in spirit of the competition, "resigning," I have become a little worried about how things are being done. Other than the long waits last year, CJD ran the contest beautifully. As Iron Man said, no one objected to his raitings, all the rules were straightforward, ect. I hope these issues are resolved as we move on with the tournament.

It is March Madness anyways, no matter how you interpret it.

Just want to point out, gazag DID say that if there were enough DQs to outnumber the 32 required tracks he would take the best DQ'ed tracks and give them sanctuary, so to speak. So everyone whos all "OMGz why did a track with 8979568 lats make it?!?!?!?!111???/", just know that there probably were very few tracks that were clean in this round.

Tex - Maybe you're right. Maybe there weren't many "clean" tracks this round. But despite that, there were DQ'able tracks that made it and one's that are perfectly fine that did not.

I would deeply appreciate it if you didn't refer to my apologies as "suck-ups" in the future...There is always grounds for apologizing in an argument. I've taken part in this argument, and saying sorry should not be considered sucking up.

I'm curious, gazag, if we're going to get ratings or not. I was kinda hoping for some constructive criticism, not just knowing whether the track made it or not.

i did make it aopparent that the first round would be like this due to the amount of submitions. from the next round they will be like yours were last year with alot of detail in the ratings. it was a resubmiton by cjd that made it so he got throught and if he wishes to submit it on the exchange please do. there were alot of unclean tracks and as i did say i was leanient on some of the judgeing but as of round 2 it will be extreamly tight as you will have more time to compleate and things will be stricter in the rule book.

so please just concentrait on round 2 and not complaining

On the next round will be be able to alter a track after we upload it to the exchange after raters have found a flaw?

If it's not in the rules, CKmwm, it's legitimate...or at least, you can assume that it is.

No i'm just asking if we're allowed to cheat next round. Are we also allowed to steal tracks or use previously created tracks because that wasn't mentioned in the rules either.

sorry the rules do sort of contridict themselfs. ill change the rules so it states one submition only. yes cjd did use the rules to his advantage but he did not cheat. it was legitimate and his track passed. now stop sulking

Okay CKmwm, c'mon now. The argument was a good one, but an argument nonetheless, which has subsided long enough. You'll just have to accept it and play the contest. It is however just a game, no matter how much users on this site crave being the best...

^well said, CKmwm I think you're attacking the issue a little too much. Cjd found a loophole, and used it. Anyone else couldave done the same thing, thats just the way it is.
