Dont quote me on this but I think that if an RCT4 was to come out, it would be a hell of a lot better than RCT3 which in my opinion is a very good game unlike all of you other people that think that NoLimits rules the world.
i agree that rct 4 would have to be better.. if they did try to resurect the franchise, but if it's gonna be pov in 3d the stupid "premade peice at a time" thing has got to go bye bye.. and compared to rct 3 no limits DOES rule the world , when it comes to the coaster simulation..
I think it would be cool to keep the layout of RCT 3, but revert to the classic graphics of 1&2 to keep the simplicity and the fun. When RCT 3 came out, I was disappointed, I wanted a game that my computer could handle, not run with 5 FPS. They need to keep it simple like the good old days if they want to make the game successful IMO.

Even if they can't pull a NL type rollercoaster designer. They could at least have something like Ultimate ride, where you would be able to chose sizes.

Man, you guys haven't look at RCT-3 for quitte a while haven't you? Its no longer the boring cartoony game it was, due to awsome custom scenery and coaster custumisation skills of many it has now evolved to something like this:
If there is ever going to be an RCT4, I don't think they?????????ll go back to 2D though. Today?????????s average desktop purchasable in a shop is usually capable of running pretty advanced 3D applications and the developers uses this ?????????I candy????????? to lure unsuspecting customers into buying the game. Not to mention that Atari?????????s still in command.
What I think they?????????ll do is to sort of keep the style but make it a bit better for the non enthusiast. Remember, RCT3 sold well through the general community. They don't really give a shiz about us at all. In other words I'll probably never buy an RCT again unless some ware in the near future the game works with Bezier editing.
i still do like RCT3, its cartoonish charm i like but i would just change some of the coaster design parts like the eurofighter type one i would compleatly change.
i like the 3dish nature of it too as it creates a new dimention of building becuse with this you have to think about the look of the inside of your buildings and not just the outside.
saying this though i do prefer RCT1+2 as there game play was far more fun and i still love the original RCT1.
i do however treat RCT3 as a totoally seperate game to the first 2 cuz thats the only way i can see of doing it as it is a pretty mush totally diffrent game with the same theme.
