^Its a Computer Graphic Simulator by a Company who makes Roller Coaster Simulations for a profit. You can't get it because it's owned and the company does it themselves.

They do some awesome work. Wonder how long it takes to create those models?

Keith McVeen, the guy is. I remember when i first saw some of his stuff on coasterbuzz, thought it was pretty damn cool, but it's come on a lot since then. The 3D model and animation of Diamondback are both just stunning.

Yes let's just hope the ride ends up looking nice like that, It would be a damn shame if they didn't theme it like that.

Well they said the ride's vertical construction will be done by Thanksgiving, so that gives them a LOT of time to do themeing

hang on just a sec...

"Maximum Height: 230?????????
Length of First Hill: 222?????????
Length of First Drop: 215?????????"

...what's the difference between the length of the first hill and the length of the first drop? Are they saying that the lift hill begins 8ft off the floor, rises to a height of 230ft, then drops to a height of 15ft? did I just answer my own question? yes... [lol]

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it means. They're giving us a lot of technical info for recreations, I like it. We've got like 5 different hill heights.

Question: Has the webcam for this always bounced between 3-4 different areas of construction?

^It did when it was announced, then it stuck to one view, now it's bouncing again.

I was going to say. I thought I was losing my mind when I opened it and it was on The Crypt construction area. [lol]

And I forgot to mention before, I was at Kings Island on Sunday and noticed that there is some DB track sitting behind Firehawk, and some of the mustard yellow supports are sitting behind SoB. You can easily see both of these areas from the Eiffel Tower.

Those yellow supports were a lot thicker than I thought they would be when I saw them in person.

^Yea, and those locals are the "Staging Area". When they need those track pieces they will move them to where they need them.

If you Look at the construction now you'll see they've finished about this:

All that in 2 days. Any guesses to when they'll start on the lift?

I think they will probably do most of the lift and the turn before the splashdown later, maybe in the off season, because it would be hard to put things into place while guests are walking along that pathway. That's just my opinion though.

A lot of the lift is going to go in an area where it would not upset the midway, but they would need a HUGE crane to get it up there, so it may not be for a while.

In a few weeks won't the park be closed during the week? That is when they did the bulk of the constuction for Behemoth, even the lift going right over Italian Job.

Just a wild guess here, but I would think they would want the lift and brake area to be done first, that way the electricians can get to work on the lift area.

^Kings Island will be closed during the week in just a few weeks, but with the webcam up and running that should be no problem.

Close-up of transfer track and latest track piece:

It seems that they have moved the transfer track over a little bit. Was that done to make it a little easier to place the piece of track in that gap?

^Possibly, but they're going to have to move it back and screw them together so I don't see the point in that.

I'm going there this afternoon I'll bring back pics.
