Statistics are fun... talking about tax breaks in terms of actual dollar figures could not be more misleading. Gotta love the politicians; if they really want to help the average citizen, maybe they'd consider overhauling the tax code in an attempt to make it decipherable (though just in some select places, I'm not picky). Maybe they'll even take a look at the FairTax, given a cold front descending on hell.

So,roughly 84.88% of the population has a gross income under $100,000. All of these people provide 29.25% of the income tax revenue. I'm afraid the only issue I see here is with the methodology, not (necessarily) the distribution.

Ok, those questions had me laughing. They are SOOOO pointedly biased and SOOOO pointedly dirt raking. I mean "Is Obama a Marxist?" C'mon, seriously? "Is Obama going to turn America into a socialist state like Sweden?" How did she go from "the next president is going to be tested" to "Is Obama saying that if he's elected nothing will be done and Americas days as a leading power are over"?

This wasn't an interview, it was a platform for that news program to toss biased Obama bashing rumors out to the public in the form of "questions". I'm surprised she didn't pull out the "terrorist fist bump" or ask if Obama was once a member of the Taliban. Really she wasn't interested in what Bidin had to say she'd just toss out one inflammatory question after another, although she did change the subject mighty quick when he pointed out McCain stood in praise of Acorn himself. "Moving right along...."

I'm not a big fan of either party, but stuff like this makes the Republicans look scared and desperate.

EDIT: Actually, just scrolling up and looking at the pictures McCain looks more like Walter than Biden does.

Seriously though, I'm not a guy for politics and never have been. But to be fair Obama seems like a nice guy and for some reason reminds me of lewis hamilton([dunno]) but my point is that everyone seems to be a little too on the offensive side of things and suddenly pulls back when the other side makes a valid point and have no way of defence. Start balancing out the two and be ready with a good answer like said before when Bidin pointed out how Mccain stood in praise of acorn himself. Looking back on what i have just written i barely understand what even I am saying, so i shall be silent for much of this topic until i can comment without being flamed, goodpie!
