[lol] Yes, they show it on all the channels. It drops at midnight EST regardless of the timezone you are in, which means Californians can see it drop at 9pm LOCAL -- but yeah, they do show it LIVE when it drops at midnight, EST.

I cannot belive it, 2008 went so fast. It seems like yesterday when we were celebrating the coming of 2008. At least 2008 was not like 2006 which I thought lasted forever.

happy new year! i had it like 6-9 hours earlier than the U.S.A. [:D]

i saw some firework gone wrong somewhere in my street:
it didn't go up but raced down the street and exploded not a foot away from someone. i don't know how he is but i think he's fine...

now here (Holland) it's 13:48 and i just woke up [:D]

Happy New Year everyone!! And I agree fraroc, it certainly does seem to go by faster and faster. On a good note, I now get to say "I am retiring NEXT year" after over 18 years of waiting! :-)
